Lovely food nice touches excellent staff nice ambience about the restaurant

Fantastic restaurant with great tasting food and excellent personal service

one of the best Indian places we ate. the restaurant is clean, spacious and the staff is very attentive and polite. they are open late and eat.

not her typical Indian restaurant. although they are the standard dishes, chicken tikka, tandoori etc. owners are from bangladesch and most are me.

we were looking for a good restaurant for dinner in ballater. the options are quite limited. we have a chance on a recommendation from the desk consultant.

We enjoyed our return to India on the Green, probably our sixth or seventh trip, and always good. Friendly team, lots of menu choices, and pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. Food quality very good again. Wine list could probably do with a refresh, and our jug of water was forgotten until a later reminder, but a really enjoyable meal, and we will definitely be back.

This restaurant offers delicious Indian cuisine served by friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Be sure to ask for their recommendations. It is a great place for groups or a quiet romantic dinner. The best Indian cuisine in the area by far. The relishes are so good that they should be bottled and sold. The staff really knows how to take care of you. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant was charming and the food was fantastic. The staff were wonderful. The only negative aspect was a particularly rude customer who was upset with me for taking a call from my son while in the restaurant. (It was practically empty at the time and I made sure to speak quietly). I have never felt so shocked and embarrassed to be treated in such a rude manner before. This really put a damper on our evening. It is disheartening to encounter such hostility in a lovely place like Ballater.

OMG, what a shame. The food we ate on Saturday evening was delicious, however every other aspect of our dining experience was dreadful. The service was horrendous from start to finish. We were sat next to a particularly noisy table who were using ‘colourful’ language which was never challenged throughout our meal. A couple of young french ladies who arrived at the same time as my husband and I, still hadn’t had any food by the time we were ready to pay the bill which made me feel quite uncomfortable actually. To finish our evening off we were going to be charged for someone else’s bar bill until we questioned it. However we were still charged £5:95 for a glass of flat soda water and a Diet C...
