"The Rich Mix cafe isn't the main attraction here but it does a good job. It offers cakes, sandwiches, snacks and cups of tea and coffee however, you don't go to the Rich Mix for the culinary experience. For those of you who don't know, the Rich Mix is a cultural center at the top of Brick Lane on Bethnal Green Road. It puts on loads of different events (music, theater, ping pong evenings, comedy nights, etc), has a cinema that shows a few mainstream movies, a lot of very interesting documentaries that aren't necessarily in the limelight, and has a small exhibition room. It's very cheap to go, most events are under 10 pounds and drinks at the bar are cheap. Correction, they're seriously...read more"

Why would they be put in a milkshake? being here a few times, it's really not a great place to dinate. music is good. when they order, they stick to ice and drinks.

extra 1.0 for yummy pani puri. while looking for some Indian snacks near shoreditch, I meet over this place, although pani puri was not on the map, but I can see photos added of reviews. we had only golgappe who were really good. the environment was good and the staff was friendly, but the only one is overpriced!

I ordered Masala Dosa. The dosa itself was ok but not very crispy. However, the potato filling was old, it actually tasted off. And the chutneys weren't nice. Both tasted too strongly of coconut and had almost no spices or other flavour. And they both tasted fizzy and bad. The only other thing was a bowl of under-flavoured lentils. Really disappointing

my London visit started with this place as I came from my apartment I saw this place in the land and I just went in the place was empty as it was quite late on Sunday night. I ordered a few beers, huh and simple naan eating was fresh, beautifully prepared, plentiful amount and very tasty. the personal was very welcoming place also has a lot of space and has thema of bollywood over. after that I went back there and would definitely go back to my next trip.

I went to this restaurant with a group of 12 people. The staff quickly reorganized the seating to accommodate us all at one long table. I was worried that it would take a long time for everyone to get their food, considering we ordered a variety of items from the menu, but it only took about 15 minutes. I was disappointed that the food was not very hot, as I prefer my meals to be piping hot. However, the dishes were nicely seasoned, with a pleasant level of spiciness. The restaurant was clean and provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of London just outside its doors.

This restaurant was reviewed highly on other sites so decided to check out why it was different on here It's an interesting space, close to Dishoom and Brick lane, this place has in so many ways lots to live up to. Set in the Richmix Cinema, I though it was a bit of a strange location, but it looks like they seem to be doing ok as the place has a nice vibe.. The music was relaxed, Caribbean reggae and the wall writing along with the palm trees outside with tables and chairs gave the place a beach feel to it! You could be in Goa or the Caribbean! ; We visited on a Wednesday night and there was a large group eating, and about 6 other tables had diners! There was a...read more

Indi-Go Cafe is a cute, little bar and restaurant attached to the Rich Mix cinema in Shoreditch. It makes for a convenient bite to eat on either end of a date night at the movies Ambiance: 3.0 Washed in blue, turquoise and dark browns, it's a quirky little location with lots of windows and big booths. During the day time, it has somewhat of a cafeteria feel to it, but by night it takes on more of a proper dining ambiance. That being said, it isn't anything fancy, and a few of the overhead lights seemed to be on the fritz, flickering, flashing and leaving us wondering if there was a lightning storm going on Service: 2.5 A bit subpar. The waitress was sweet, but very distracted....read more

We were keen to check out Indigo, a bright and cheerful restaurant that has opened up next door to Rich Mix cinema. Rich Mix is one of our favourite places, with a great line up of comedy, music and independent cinema First impressions of Indigo were good, loved the light and airy space We kicked things off with a mango lassi. Our first ones were a bit pale and anaemic, but our second ones seemed to have about 50% more mango which was better Starters came from the street food section. I went for pav bhaji which is a spicy vegetable curry served with toasted bread. I found the curry to be a bit too tomato-ey which made it a bit one dimensional. I would have liked it if they had...read more
