Absolutely disgusting. My chicken wrap had 5 bones in it! Made me throw up straight after. Stay away!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but the portion sizes are disappointingly small. Please consider being more generous with your servings!

Totally over priced with minimal ingredients a shame on west indiian cooking I mean 5 for a pattie get real. And you have never tasted real west indiian food Ver carta

£5.50 for a patty. Nowhere in the world is a patty five pounds I like to support my own people. But this guy is obviously trying to take advantage being in this area Brighton

The staff at this restaurant is unfriendly, the food is mediocre and overpriced, the location is not desirable. They need to make improvements to attract customers for their food.

This restaurant serves authentic Caribbean food with the best flavors in Brighton. It is one of the few remaining spots where you can find real jerk chicken. I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10. Ver carta

I’ve been coming to this place for a Little while now never had an issue but the last 3 times I’ve been to this place the prices I’m sure he just makes them up on the customer as he’s been going up every time and wen asked about it he laughs and says everything’s gone up (kinda hard to believe as I was only there the week before and he said the same thing then) this time the chicken was terrible I’m more then sure it was this place that gave me food poisoning . Can’t say it’ll ever be seeing me again lost a customer over £3-4

Just don 't bother. I pre-ordered to collect on my way home from work. Website took ages to load (once money and been taken from my account) and then crashed. No answer from restaurant phone line. When I went to collect, they had not received my order. I was very unhelpfully told to contact yoyo . In hindsight, I 'm pretty glad I didn 't have food from here. The front of the shop where food is kept warm was filthy. The man (presumably chef) didn 't look like the cleanest person and scores on the doors says they scored zero last month. So probably a lucky escape.

Went to island takeaway for my first time, there isn’t a lot of Caribbean shops in Brighton so I had high hopes. The store gave off authentic Jamaican vibes, however that was the only thing authentic about this shop. I originally tried to order a oxtail and was told they didn’t have any (no real surprise tbh). Then I asked what do you have and was told “you tell me what you want and I’ll let you know” which was just not helpful as they didn’t have what I wanted. The only ended up having 5/9 mains available. I got the large curry goat and rice peas for £15 which isn’t a horrendous price if the large was actually large but it wasn’t. When I tried to foot the rice was over cooked with the peas... Ver carta
