I had the fish and chips today and I was extremely disappointed. The fish was covered in raw batter and soaked in grease. At £8.40, it was a complete rip off.

Came by chance Great service! Fish was the best of the meal tasted very fresh and definitely not dry If im back in the area again I shall definitely stop by English chips too and not fries!

I landed at this chippy at Shear luck As a tipper, driver probably been to quite a few. I had the goujon chicken curry with chips He recommended try some mayonnaise with it. It was absolute QUALITY Best I've had in a long time. Friendly staff highly recommended

Jon and the team are fantastic, well mannered, attentive immediately and will make you wait for fresh chips, they don't serve crappie food here at all, never had a bad one in years, I'd suggest if there's a complaint or an error made, make it known straight away to the owner Jon, he's an honest man that would rectify an error as he definitely cares about his business, we won't go anywhere else and we've 3 other chip shops within 500 yards

I have been looking for a 5 Star Fish n chippy for a while and tried J Seas for the 1st time Friday 11th Sept 2020. I arrived just as it was closing but the very friendly lady in charge cooked me a fresh large fish as I had travelled from Preston which I was very impressed with !! I have travelled all over the UK as a Field Engineer and I can safely say that J Seas is the best chippy I have ever found. The fish was cooked beautifully and the chips totally non greasy. I will now make this my regular chippy. Ignore all the bad reviews as it’s quite clear that they are probably from their jealous competitors. Ver carta
