"This was in times past a little gem in Ayr a perfect place for that romantic night where you could have a beautiful night but sadly our latest experience told a very different story, A table of four sitting right next to us shouted, screamed and used very foul language all night. When they left several tables were glad to see the back of them. I mentioned to the manager that I was disappointed they didn't have a word asking them to keep it down. The manager said they didn't hear anything which I don't believe as they place really isn't that big. It ruined out night and we regret going which should not be how you should feel when going out. Its really disappointing and we would think twice about going back if this is the type of customers they want to attract"

"First time at The Tudor, chosen by my friends who are local and regulars at the restaurant. Great choice on the menu, very generous portions and excellent value with the 2 and 3 course meal deal. Meal was very nicely prepared, the homemade pie was fabulous and meat content was very tender. Staff friendly and professional. Tried to return next night with my hubby only it was packed. Can see why, great restaurant would certainly return again when next in the area."

"food was absolutely incredible, both my friend and i really enjoyed it. the major downfall was how long the service took, we waited 20 to 30 minutes to order drinks and it was impossible to flag someone down since we seemed to be sitting in an area that all the waiters forgot about. each time we wanted another drink it took forever to order it, ended up ordering several at a time so we didn’t have to deal with the lengthy wait."

"We visited this restaurant to try out the two-course lunch menu that was advertised, but upon arrival, we were only given the a la carte menu. When I asked the waitress about the two-course menu, she informed me that they did not offer it and showed me a small sandwich selection on the back of the drinks menu as an alternative. Despite seeing a steak deal promoted on social media, it was not mentioned or offered to us during our visit. Interestingly, another table asked for the set price menu and promptly received it. When settling the bill, I mentioned these discrepancies and was told that they were trying to promote their new a la carte menu but would have provided the set menu if requested. This lack of transparency was disappointing, as the food and service were satisfactory. Although the restaurant had a nice interior and an outdoor play area for children, the communication and presentation of their menu offerings left much to be desired. I spoke with the manager about my experience, and received a brief apology. Unfortunately, I am unlikely to return, despite the restaurant's appealing features."

"this is the most amazing place and eating is great and unique at the same time. small restaurant and they must book it, has become very popular very fast. if in ayr must visit. my first plate minze and basilikum grilled pfirsichsalat, followed by barbados marinaded lamb jewelry, minze yogurt and garlic chick. you have to say that in the mouth melted carving. super and absolutely delicious and the personal wonderful."
