Jade House - Carta

Ordered above as on low fat diet, obviously recipe changed, so heavy with Chinese five spice sauce, sugary, previously a light sauce!! Was not great please offer low fat/sugar sauce Jade House

This is my preferred Chinese takeaway. I love the Gourmet starters. The ribs are nice and small. Love the seaweed. The Peking Duck excellent. Always order too much which we either finish the day after or freeze.

Nice food, you get loads. The quality is pretty good for a takeaway and the best in Brackley. It does take awhile to get your order but that’s because it’s all cooked fresh. Very friendly service. Would recommend for a nice takeaway. Ver carta

The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent and not overly greasy like many others. I have never had a disappointing meal here, despite trying all the Chinese restaurants in Brackley. This place definitely outshines the competition!

We ordered takeout from this restaurant, and to be honest, none of the five of us enjoyed it. The salt and chilli chicken was tough and rubbery, the curry sauce on my special curry was unappetizing and very dark brown, and the beef was chewy. Sadly, we will not be ordering from here again. Apologies.

The chicken in the curry was awful, with a texture similar to that of a rubbery marshmallow. The crispy beef tasted burnt. On the other hand, the beef chow mein was delicious, as were the sweet and sour chicken balls. The owner was rude to the woman at the reception. Overall, I will not be coming back to this restaurant. Jade house is the place I go to every time without fail. Had a takeaway last night and was disappointed with the quality of the food I ordered. The rice in egg fried rice wasn’t cooked enough and was hard. The beef and mushroom was nice but the pancake roll was so different the the last time, the batter was not light and crispy but dark and chewy and the filling tasted very earthy/stale veg. Such a shame as the quality was never issue before.

This place offers very good quality food well cooked and if requested, prepared to suit your taste. Be aware though that it gets busy and expect to wait a while for your food. I generally order in person an hour before I want to eat then collect. Never been disappointed. The ingredients are good quality and the servings generous, I usually ask for a little extra heat (chilli in sweet and sour etc) and find the dishes nicely adapted. Outstanding food and a place I use almost weekly.

We hadn’t used this Chinese for over 10 years and in fact we were a little disillusioned by the Chinese takeaways in Brackley but we decided to try the Jade House again. Well, it was absolutely first class. The crispy shredded beef was better than a lot of high class Chinese sit down restaurants. Everything we had was so tasty and not greasy at all, plus generous portions too. We had a bit of a wait but the place was hugely busy and popular I can see why. We will definitely be coming back for more Ver carta
