"Went to the Wyevale Garden Centre and found this lovely independent cafe which is found when you go the outside area for plants. We decided to have lunch here and there was a good selection of meals to choose from on the little blackboard at the till area. You have to go inside and queue up to be served and then your meal is brought to your table. We both went for the lamb crumble today but they only had one left, so I went for the pasta bake which had bacon and cheese in it. They were £7.50 each and we had a bottle of fizzy water to share, which we chose from the fridge. It all came to £16.80. We sat outside as it was a lovely warm day. We didn't have too long to wait for our meals to be brought to us. My pasta bake came with a side salad which consisted of a portion of coleslaw and some nice raw red cabbage salad, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and mustard and cress. It was all really flavoursome and delicious. Hubby's lamb crumble was made from breadcrumbs and had minced lamb underneath and was also really lovely. It came with little new potatoes and perfectly cooked side veg of cabbage and carrots. Our water was lovely and cold and we were given two glasses to drink it. We noticed others getting toasted tea cakes, they looked and smelt lovely and there were lots of cakes to eat as well, they looked home made. This is a lovely place and I would highly recommend it."

Popped there for lunch. Eat inside or within the garden centre but still covered from rain. Good selection of food. The staff couldn't be more helpful.

Indulge in a relaxing break at the jasmine tea room, where pleasant staff greet you warmly. They offer a nice variety of cakes, snacks, sandwiches, and light meals, all freshly made. Afterward, you can explore the garden center next door.

My husband and I visited Wyevale garden centre and Jasmine Tea Room was inside. Very pleasant surroundings and quite reasonable. My husband had a date slice which he said was very good and I had tea and toasted teacake. The teacake was quite big and nice and fruity, also it was nice and warm with plenty of butter. A very nice place to drop in for tea but they also do lunches too

Yesterday, my wife and I visited the Jasmine Tea Room. We arrived in time for breakfast and had a delicious meal. The Tea Room is located within the Dicker Nursery but is a separate establishment. Our breakfast included plenty of toast, two sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The service was fast and efficient, and we were able to enjoy our meal outside on the lovely patio. Overall, our experience at the Jasmine Tea Room was very enjoyable.

I have visited this restaurant before. It is an independent establishment located within a large garden center. They offer a diverse menu with daily specials listed on a blackboard. They have a variety of drinks available. The food we ordered was delicious and arrived promptly, within 15 minutes. The prices are reasonable. The only downside was that it was a bit drafty and occasionally cold when the door opened, despite us seating ourselves away from it. There was an overhead fan heater, but it didn't consistently maintain a comfortable temperature. However, it was a particularly cold and windy day when we visited.

"Honestly...one of the best pub restaurants I have ever visited! We chose to eat here as it was recommended via Alistair Sawday, and it did not disappoint. The food, atmosphere, hygiene and service were all 5* when we visited last night. We sat inside, by candlelight, and ordered 2 starters (the Rye smoked mackerel with buttercream sauce and the heritage tomato salad and 2 mains (the beef burger with fries and the hake with toasted ciabatta and garden peas . It was truly exquisite! We both cleaned our plates (and we don't usually do that! . My only mild criticism is that I didn't realise the hake dish would include bacon lardons they certainly added to the flavour, but as an ethical pescatarian, this could have ruined the meal for me (I didn't allow it to, but 10 years ago when I was more strict it may have upset me . I may have simply missed this ingredient when reading the menu, and I didn't make the waiting staff aware of my dietary preferences, so I accept this was my fault and not theirs. It's just something for other pescatarians reading this review to be aware of. I have absolute confidence that they would prepare the hake dish without the bacon lardons if you asked. As for me....my boyfriend gleefully took them from my plate and demolished them himself! We also enjoyed a medium glass of wine each my boyfriend (who is very particular loved the tempranillo and I had their Italian pinot grigio. Our entire meal would have been less than £60, but with the current government incentive scheme to eat in, it came to less than £40!! We tipped generously as they truly deserved it. We will 100% be returning and can't advocate them enough."
