We figured we'd go for German cuisine on our first night and took a friend's suggestion to try this spot! Adorable, cozy and while the food is not really anything special it was all good but it's the atmosphere that makes it. Good beers and...we loved the herring. Charming decor. Ver carta

Cuando buscamos un lugar para almorzar con nuestra hermana de Berlín durante nuestra reciente visita a la capital, inmediatamente pensamos en este maravilloso y acogedor restaurante, Joseph Roth. La comida y el servicio son excelentes. Sin mencionar las grandes jarras de cerveza de ... Turingia. Reservamos una mesa en la esquina trasera y era el lugar perfecto para almorzar y ponernos al día. Amo este lugar

all about this place enthused: welcome, eating, ambiente, decor (with books for sale around the place) and service were all relaxed and just what was needed for a great lunch. I'm telling the noodles with lenses that was so delicious that I thought. hubby had the noodles with mushrooms he really enjoyed. tafelwein was acceptable. loved the mix of couples, groups of friends and families that all eat here. they would be highly recommended! eating was good, but what I would normally expect for the price. service diabolical. and they do not take our order until and only when we order it after the table next to us who came to us. then we were told to have kitchen closed, it was though we had a last. some of the most important courses not available, then the starters were not together. one of the starters arrived at the same time the most important courses arrived. Finally, we asked for the bill and tied to the cash to pay. the waiter was upset all night over over and we felt we were making him annoyed. not the service I would expect from a decent restaurant.

That is a little temple dedicated to the writer Joseph Roth. The writer who did not born in Berlin, lived and worked there for many years, from to So Berlin is one of the best place to built a memory to him. The...place is so pleasant. All the walls are carpeted with hundreds of small pictures remembering the writer. At the top of the walls there is a band with the chronology of him. And you can find stacks of his books, in German, everywhere, which i suppose on sale for customers. It is a beautiful place to have a tea, a bier or a quick meal. The dishes are not many but the cuisine is good. Moderate prices. If you drop by PosdamerStrasse you will enjoy it!!!

No estaba muy seguro al principio cuando leí sobre este lugar, pero el año pasado estaban llenos cuando fui allí sin reservar y este año, quedándome en el hotel cercano, decidí pasar a almorzar y no me decepcionó. Verdaderamente comida alemana ... eso es genial. El servicio es excelente y rápido. Disfruté del ambiente. La mezcla de deco te hace sentir como si hubieras retrocedido en el tiempo y la música que se tocó ayudó a este sentimiento. Recomiendo encarecidamente ir a comer, beber o simplemente para tomar un café rápido y un postre, pero asegúrese de reservar primero por la noche para evitar que lo devuelvan debido a la falta de mesas libres.
