"Love the food! We hadn’t booked a table and the restaurant was pretty packed out nonetheless the owner moved things around and set up a table for us. We had palak paneer lamb chops butter chicken. The palak paneer tasted authentically homemade. I would most definitely recommend this place for a special day out or a Friday night curry or any time of the week! The service is great, it’s clean, the staff are friendly which makes all the difference. A huge thumbs up from us."

Have been a few times now, sometimes as a couple but have also introduced friends to this gem of a restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is delicious, the best balti I’ve ever had! Will definitely be returning

Came here last night for my dads suprise 60th birthday, it was amazing! The food, staff service was outstanding. Everyone enjoyed themselves and felt at ease and comfortable. Very spacious for 20 people! Food tasted fresh and well cooked, not too spicy and full of flavours. 100% will be back! Thank you to Jubilee House for a great evening! 5 stars Ver carta

Visited for the first time this evening as we had seen reviews from people and thought we would try it, we weren't disappointed. We shared a boneless grill and had some chilli chips and a peshwari naan. The food was absolutely delicious, the meat on the grill was all beautiful and not full of colourings and nicely spiced. We will definitely be returning to try a curry as suggested by the staff. If you are looking for some good punjabi food this is the place to go

sat there on the day after the day of vaterday and treated by the family with food and drinks. I must say the restaurant is clean and the service staff is brilliant. the food was beautiful and well presented and tasteful top cook. we asked that the cots and mixed grill be carried out in front of the net and our request was carried out as desired. I really can't blame this whole experience. reasonable price for the food and drinks. will return in the future. Back to Sanj

"This was our first visit. I have to remind myself that this is a training environment for students but there should be someone in charge, who is identifiable to direct the students on how to present a menu and how to place a dish in front of customers. However, four courses for £35, amuse bouche counted for one course. Amouse bouche lacked any seasoning, orzo starter, well cooked but again lacked seasoning. My wife had fish, Coley, which was nice. I had chicken breast on a bed of curry sauce with hassleback potatoes. My whole dish was luke warm at best, the curry sauce was overpowering, and the hassleback potatoes were not crispy. The chicken was lovely and moist and I ordered a side of triple cooked chips which were super hot, expensive at £4, I only wish the rest of my dish was that hot. I had cheese and biscuits which consisted of Brie, blue cheese and cheddar together with chutney. My wife had Pain Perdue which was well presented and tasty. The restaurant is more like a cafe, not cosy, so don't choose it if you want a romantic evening. Overall would I go again? probably not. If you are ever near the Lake district try to book a table in the restaurant at Kendal College. On a final note; there is parking on an evening next to the college. Drive up to the barrier and press the call button, security will let you in. The barrier opens automatically on exit."
