Junction Café - Carta

Great bar for live music, with a varied program list of bands and musical staff. Reasonable prices as well. for a beer and for a A bit small with limited space to watch the bands, but worth a visit.

Inadvisible for Bands. Bad sound, maybe because the sound engineer leaves BEFORE the concert?! the manager is very unfriendly. Often weird people coming by... As a woman I don´t feel comfortable in the late hours... The Café upstairs is ok...

Just what we were looking for. A suitably crowded underground bar. Loud music that didn't deafen you. The drinks flowed and weren't expensive. The band, a 60s 70s group The Beat Club were fantastic, most brilliant lead guitarist. 10 Euro entrance cost. Mainly an older crowd but that I guess reflects the music on offer. Worth the Uber fee to get too imho.

In search for a music bar we wound our way to this place.It tries to match the Berlin way by being tough tom enter! The place is like a dungeon with a small stage.Only a few seats and they seem to go in uncreative manner.The lounge area near the bar is better.Live music was good but did not hold much of our attention.A drink is included in the cover charge which seems to alter depending on the music.No receipt was given for the charge!

During our extended stay in Berlin the Junction bar proved a delightful little pub/cafe (ground floor) and hopping music venue (basement) where it is all about the personal. One of a disappearing species of family owned/run Kreuzberg businesses, the Junction Bar/Cafe stands as living testament to a Berlin where it is still all about people and place (rather than money and space). The food menu is simple fare, but of well-chosen, fresh ingredients, and offered at a more than fair price. Drinks pour is generous. Staff fluent in as many languages as you'd need in Europe.
