"I didn't want to come by yet. but in retrospect, I can confess that I was not really euphoric when the choice of a group I go with to eat monthly fell in the mai on the warrior 23. in another evaluation portal it is classified as international, which I usually have a bit, but nothing really does. at google is said: the restaurant in the style of a 19th century building room serves German and Mediterranean cuisine. the with the bauernstube is beautiful (and fits as in the opposite small farmers were. but I am not really a big fan of German cuisine. if I enjoy it, it can be fat, degrunt and/or very fish (which I did not expect from the slightly tootro moderately graceful weekly dishes of the cheese. I was a regular italy visitor restaurant as well as safe the two pasta dishes of the relevant week included cheese cream or cream sose. I don't have to be; and I don't know that of the Italian opposites I rub, either. I am very pleased to say the following: the war 23 has gradually refuted all my fears. it began with the fact that the (small wine selection also my favorite grapes sauuvignon blanc, which was in a Chilean variant with good value for money (4.20 euro for 0.2 l, was: mai 2017). I was hard to find something suitable on the small menu with about four main dishes. I decided to use the gnocchi frutti di mare in cream sauce with large salat insert (11.50 euro) the service dame told me about my demand that the meeres fruits were incorporated into the teig (which was not true). but because the gnocchi slightly crispy fried without so bite overkill; that the creamy sauce was barely decomposable in the selection of digestive burnys, I trusted in the recommendation of the chef who was great. (I forgot the name to ask him myself. ; from the fact that our evening service was responsible for me to ask if we wanted to eat something as a registered group with 14 participants, I come to the conclusion that in the Käthners 23 it is not a problem to meet only for the more refreshing drinks. I can only guess from the latter! that would make you miss something: as good as all edible at our long table were completely satisfied with their eating. we paid, this is good in the Käthners 23 with its seven-year tradition, on which tresen used and for them from the dedicated and communicative we are still a bit high percentage on the house. And chatting about weep, berries and spirited; and the constraints that limit the offer of a last like the warrior. Conclusion: chethners 23 is the perfect charity for me. especially if it is – as I suspect – okay not to eat (save snack: small part with bread/butter for 5,80 €, but only to enjoy the fairly calculated drinks. in the current season, I would have liked to have seen his existence on the Käthners website or on the yelp, I would have been much more likely to sit in front of the restaurant in the evening than in the interior that is empty except us."

this little place is unrecommended! the atmosphere reminds of a small, cuddly living room instead of a restaurant. the service is very attentive, but unobtrusive and at any time friendly.

A great restaurant in our neighborhood. Small individual and weekly changing map. Here is cooked with love and everything is freshly prepared. Great team... very nice service. We always like to come back, even if it's just a wine!

So, as thirsty and good I have rarely sat and fed. incredible nice atmosphere, great eating, nice owners / services! the menu is very clear, but that's exactly what I liked. not long back and forth, but a small but large selection of means of life!

The Käthners is one of my personal favorites in Barmbek South. Rustic yet open ambience, warm and direct service, hearty and opulent food. Those who do not want to have it too fine for special moments are at the Käthnerort 23 exactly at the right address.

Great and delicious cuisine! Every week there is a new menu with delicious creations! Example of... We were here more than 10 times and were never disappointed! The prices in Käthners23 are completely reasonable and not too high. You can either sit in the creatively thrown restaurant or on the outdoor terrace.

Obviously one of my favorite restaurants in Hamburg. Cosy, delicious and family! There is a weekly changing map where there is something for every taste! In summer you can sit on the terrace. Since the restaurant is located in a side street, it is nicely quiet. The service and hospitality are excellent. Great praise for the whole team. Stay as you are and continue
