eating was very delicious and sometimes quite different from what you know. the prices are normal for an economy and the service was good.

Great service and very friendly the place is a bit small but OK. Not so many vegetarian varieties on the menu but the lentil soup was great. Prices a bit high for the taste.

So amazed for the food, very spicy and so good! :) Delighted by the nice and friendly staff, we had a taste of Ethiopian Food. Recommended - but you have to be used to chili pepper! :) Ver carta

My friends and I came to this place to try some different food, and we were not disappointed. The decoration is very welcoming, good dish presentation and tasty food. The staff was also nice. The prices are reasonable.

the restaurant is not too big, sympathetic and good to find. it is located directly on the main road (karlstraße). the service was not excessively flashing now, but very nice, polite and pleasant.I recommend the African cocktail as a drink. because I didn't have it with meat, I decided to have a vegetarian dish: aisha. the typical sour fladenbrot and the nice to it were very tasty.I also had eaten in two other similar local in carlsruhe. this here lands on my personal space 2 of 3.

Kilimanjaro labels itself as serving Eritrean food. We were promptly seated in the nicely decorated restaurant. You could not help notice that you were supposed to feel thay you were somewhere far south of Karlsruhe. I ordered a platter with mixed meat, but I was surprised to see chicken appear on my platter as it was not listed in the menu for that type of platter. Rule of thumb - regard the menu as just an indicator of whay you may be served. With the rave reviews of this place that I had read, I left somewhat disppointed.

We are big fans of Eritrean food and this one is the worst one we've tried so far.We ordered two Veggie Platters (€11.00 each) and one meat platter (€13.50). The food was warm instead of hot, portions of the lentils, spinach, and potatoes weren't generous enough, and they all tasted very bland.We also ordered a bottle of still water which tasted awful! The only impressive dish was their lentil soup (€4.00) which tasted great.The service was okay, but didn't have a menu in English and the waiter didn't speak any English either. They didn't issue us with a proper receipt (was hand written) and they only take cash payments. Wouldn't come here again. Ver carta
