We visited for a farewell dinner, ordered some US Prime steaks, outperforming other restaurants in Karlsruhe. Good dinner atmosphere and friendly service. But of course: mainly it is a steak restaurant, better don't take vegans with you...

This is a rather new restaurant in Karlsruhe and therefore my first visit, invited by a business partner.We really got some steaks of outstanding quality! Definitely the best steak of town.Of Course, everything else from service to desert was also perfect.We got an impressive evening.For me a "must visit place" for future visits of this town...

Brick + Bone provides a sense of luxury and exclusivity due to her decor and small details like the cuts of meat displayed in the counter highlighting what is supposed to be the star of the meal. The menu's are heavy books quite over the top really. Prices for the meat are on the high side considering there is nothing else included in the mains as side dishes. Any side dish like potatoes, veggies, sauce, etc... must be ordered and paid aside and they are just regular small side dishes. Would make sense to at least have one free choice with the meat. Atmosphere and location is nice, cool styling and ambiente.Unfortunately, the quality of the food was poor:- Cesar salad was unimaginative- Avocado artichoke salad was ice cold, parmesan cheese tasted old.- One steak was burnt and over cooked- New York strip steak was cold and oily on the outside- Plates with steaks were cold along with the vegetablesAlso service was lacking - forgot one of 3 pre-dinner drinks until we asked for it 10 minutes later. Also, should ask to take your coats at the door, not when you sit down at the table. When you are paying 200 euros for two, you expect a much higher quality and level of service.

We had a business dinner with a client and the food and service was amazing. When you want to treat your business partner that's the place to be. Service is excellent. Waiter will show you the meat before ordering so you can choose the size and type of meat. No wrong selections possible. The wine choice is amazing and every taste will be met. Food came fast and right on spot as you wanted it to be. Side dishes in size and quality as needed to be. Nothing distracts from the excellent meat. Service is quite but very attending. You feel there is someone taking care of you to be treated as a guest. Dessert is delicious and coffee is served in a nice way with focus on details. Worth any penny you...

After 2 recent excellent meals and experience at Brick + Bone, I will go back again for more. The restaurant is a welcome addition to Karlsruhe's dining options, and the interior space is beautifully designed. The service is attentive -- the staff knows the menu in detail and advises well on it -- and the perfectly cooked and fresh steak is prepared in the way I wanted and expected it to be prepared. The current wines on offer by the glass are excellent for the food offered, in my view. The overall wine list is incredible (bring reading glasses!).Recommendation to restaurant -- would appreciate a pommes offering that includes thinner French style 'pomme frites' in addition to the thicker 'ho...
