8 of us went for the Fizzy Friday and it was fabulous. £15 for....Great food, friendly staff and entertainment until 7pm. Would highly recommend

Fabulous fizzy Friday. Wonderful food service and atmosphere. Great value for money and excellent entertainment to carry on the experience into early evening. I would strongly recommend this to all.

I and two friends had a meal last night. the food was excellent and the staff was friendly. the pub is very clean and tidy and has a beautiful atmosphere. would recommend the king alfred to everyone.

first visit of the king alfred . had the afternoon. I couldn't eat anything so the friendly staff gave us the boxes to go home. delicious food and friendly staff. will definitely return and recommend it for friends

the service was excellent eating was nice and there was a lot on the teller that chips are to die. they don't have to wait long between the meals and the staff are very friendly and helpful and gave service with a smile. I would recommend her facility to all I know.

I was there on Friday 5th may , 8 of us enjoying a birthday celebration . The food ,service etc. Was absolutely superb. The value for money was excellent . The live music in the bar was an added bonus . Highly recommend it ,and my friends and I will certainly be returning .

My family I came on the 20th March, all 17 of us. It was a last minute booking after we decided to go somewhere for dinner after my grandfathers funeral. Everyone of us loved the food and really appreciate that you took our booking without a pre order at such short notice. Totally recommend, thank you!

absolutely the best fizzy Friday we had. we celebrated my mother-in-law 70th birthday. the personal could simply not do enough for us, really friendly and friendly. the food was nicely cooked and tasted wonderful. all they eat and s glass fizz for only £15. we come back. well made the king alfred, it is at the time that a place like you pampered their guests. fabulous

Excellent Sunday lunch in the king Alf. Tables are well spaced out and everyone following the covid rules including a one way system. The staff are extreamly professional and this is evident soon as you arrive. My wife had roast beef with all the trimmings and I had a 14oz gammon steak with fluffy home made chunky chips. The onion rings are superb too. Both meals were very good with huge portions so this is worth bearing in mind if you order a starter.
