Kings Head - Carta

Booked a table for 5 people for Sunday Lunch. Travelled from Wrexham and was told no Sunday Lunch was available! We did not receive a phone call to notify us. A wasted journey!

Wonderful food with exceptional service and a very friendly welcome. We’ll certainly be returning very soon. The place is very well kept and the facilities are spotlessly clean.

Went to the King's Head last night, just on the off chance. Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Lovely atmosphere, bright and cheerful and food was very good. Recommended, had a good time. Ver carta

Staff are good the meals are brilliant and we’ve had a good meal at the pub tonight Carson and mum I’m happy for the meal I’ll go against that pub brilliant meal with is everybody was happy the staff was friendly and kind

This is much more than a pub. Beautiful food, well presented, lovely friendly staff and a well stocked bar. It’s been very well renovated and the loos are the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a pub. I’d certainly recommend the steak and ale pie.

No matter when you go to this pub, whether it's for food or just for a drink the reception is amazing. The team are incredibly polite, the place has a lovely welcoming feel, the food menu is lovingly put together and you get chippy chips in a pub which is amazing!! The drinks are pretty good too, refreshing good if you haven't been your missing out. Ver carta

Went for dinner last night whilst dog sitting for family member.What a treasure a lovely homely pub well laid out with indoor and outdoor dining facilities. A good basic pub menu with specials board at extremely reasonable prices.We chose rack of ribs home made coleslaw with the most amazing home made chips .washed down with a cold pint of coors perfectly kept and 2 bots of corona to help quench the thirst .The food service and hospitality was 2nd to none and with a bill of only £32 incredible value.I would recommend to anyone .

After a lovely morning visiting erddig near wrexham we fancied a Sunday lunch on the way home but we had the dog with us !!. After a bit of Googling and a phone call the kings head were able to accommodate us no problem. They didn’t know it was the dogs first visit to a pub/restaurant: . On arrival we were found s table in the busy pub . Grand Prix was on the TVs in the background. We quickly ordered food . 1 beef dinner 1 turkey . The food arrived within 10 mins and was lovely. Plenty of veg in a side dish of carrots broccoli cabbage and cauliflower cheese . If there was one criticism it was the gravy was very thick but it didn’t spoil my lunch at all . We even had pudding after sticky toff...

Two couples with a pre-booked table, first visit since pre Covid-19. We had starters, mains, deserts, drinks coffees. Food was average pub grub, unfortunately all hot food was served on cold plates. Menu is extensive, prices are reasonable. We were asked to pay for our starters, main course arrival drinks before our food was served. We were also asked to pay for the next round of drinks during our meal and before ordering desert. Nowhere on the menu did we see that payment was due at time of ordering and it is not what we expected to punctuate our evening out.
