"I went to birthday with 8 family members there on Friday. andrew had created a beautiful space for us that respects the social distance. it was just a very special evening. pam is an amazing cook and we had a lot of dressed, all excellent. my family wanted to take me to a chic steak place, but I chose kaiteur kitchen and what a brilliant choice that was. I may be biased, but the Guyan cuisine has the most sorts in the Caribbean (the best tasting also to do with the fusion of foods of 6 different ethnic groups and on the South American mainland) and and andrew and pam reflect this in what they serve. it was like my mother's kitchen. everything is made by scratches also the sauces and the black pudding. I must not forget to mention that they also serve el dorado around. the best of the world. best Caribbean restaurant in london also very clean and hygienic. thank you andrew and pam!"

"We were a party of five and booked a table for dinner 20.00 hours. As usual,on arrival, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our pre-laid table. I ordered poppadoms for my starters followed by chicken Naga with a mushroom bharji and a pilau rice as side dishes. One of the best things about this place is that no matter what you order, the dishes are served up looking and smelling wonderful and perfectly cooked and always good portions. We have been coming here now for many years and have never been served up with a poor dish. We hope the place never changes and shall certainly returun again in the near future."

"Hands down the best meal I've had during my one week stay in the UK. We had garlic bread as starter, chicken risotto as main and a delicious tiramisu as dessert. Would have enjoyed larger chicken pieces instead of shredded pieces, but that's just a personal preference, would have brought more structure to the course. "strong rain and bad traffic in chingford a weekday evening brought us to the door of la Baita...and we have a bit an Italian restaurant tour in the local opposite recently, so we thought why not! based on this one visit la baita suggests all other Italian restaurants that we combined in wanstead, buckhurst hill, chigwell, loughton and snaresbrook. we are coming back in a definitiw. fresh eating, very attentive staff, a great menu and interesting special board and a friendly family atmosphere."
