"a friend and I had lunch here recently. first the waiter brought small broth rolls and a part fish and curded to share the spread (liptauer). my friend told the waiter that she couldn't eat the fish when she was vegetarian, to whom he said it wasn't meat. he did not offer her alternatives, even if they pay 2.80 euros per person. the spatula bowl I had was overcooked with a boil completely overcooked potato, which as such were hardly recognizable and thrown three cheap pieces slightly warm ham over it. the sauce that came with it was quite delicious. for over 16 euro was a sweat. the vegan dish of my friend (I think it was cousin with some carrots and another sweet) looked very dry and unimaginative. She said it was okay. the waiter had a very stupid wise way he might have thought funny, but it wasn't. I thought he would have treated us differently if we had men and we weren't just two women for lunch. I'm not going back there, that's safe."

Restaurant locates on top of hill next to Marientrost basilica. Great local food with big portions and really nice staff. A bit pricy place.The view outside the restaurant is breathtaking.

After we turned the church, we stopped here for lunch. the weather was nice, which helps. service is good. 3 large beirs, 2 meal times of the day and a ravioli court, a sarg came to eur 53.10, which was worth it.

a warm late septemberday, beautiful environment, the most friendly welcome. eating here is excellent. I had luck sitting in the beautiful garden and spent a relaxed hour or so they enjoy my beautiful meal. I will certainly visit again.

The Kirchenwirt restaurant that is located alongside the Mariatrost Basillica was an accidental find, not really noticable when you visit the Basillica but we were so glad we did spot the sign on the way home. The menu is interestingly varied and caters for all...tastes, the meals that we ordered were exceptional, cooked to perfection. The service was also first class, very enjoyable experience and highly reccommended.

Yes the food was excellent, unfortunately the weather did not permit to sit outdoors, but the inside were cozy and rustic. The rooms were large and well appointed, also the bathroom but: at 5 am the garbage truck (to pick up the garbage of the...previous day) woke me up as my room were facing the graveyard and the pain parking lot. After informing the reception about it they just shrugged it off. Well, if you are an early riser, this is just the place for you !!!!
