Knight's Fish Chips Est 1909

We recently visited this seafood restaurant and were impressed by both the food and the service. The haddock was a generous portion and delicious, while the chips were perfectly cooked.

Very expensive for a chippy, staffed largely by kids, but the food was ok, not amazing but ok. Had to chase staff to pay and I overheard the table behind us complaining that they had got the wrong Bill…..

Best fish and chips we have had in along time, even my mum couldn’t find fault . The fish and chips with a tipple, in my case a Wilkins cider £12.50 all was good value for the quality served. Pleasant environment and the staff were lovely. Ver carta

Lovely food, nice and clean, toilets are upstairs and did not see a downstairs disabled toilet? Had to wait quite a while for our food to arrive as we decided to eat inside and we also had to go and find someone to pay when we had finished our meal. Also crazy prices for a chip shop.

The best fish and chips ever! We opted to eat in and I’m so glad we did! The batter on the fish was so light and the chips, wow! A special mention for the curry sauce, it was so flavourful! All washed down with a pot of tea and a coke! Yum! A perfect treat! Waiter was lovely too, thank you!

These were the worst chips I've ever tasted. They were completely inedible after just a few bites - hard and lacking any soft potato inside. They were so expensive that we ended up throwing them away. My friends had the same experience, so we ended up having to pay for another meal elsewhere. Ver carta

Called in as all restaurants were full and found this by chance. Very polite staff and quick service. I'm not sure why people call it expensive? We had a knights special which is fish and chips pot of tea , bread and butter with tartare sauce for £11.95 for a sit down meal that's cheap in my opinion. They do kids meals which are a good size too. Recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fish and chips at this restaurant in Glastonbury, Somerset. I ordered the big haddock with regular chips and it was cooked perfectly. The mushy peas, curry sauce, and everything else were also delicious. The staff was friendly and professional, and the decor inside and outside of the restaurant was beautiful. chips are up there with the best I've had in the country. The customer service is excellent and the cooks obviously take pride in their product, as is evident by the quality. Please be prepared to wait at busy times as you can't prepare food of this standard in 10 minutes. The drinks are reasonably priced and the courtyard is a wonderful place to eat in warmer times. It was a pleasure to eat in an establishment that put customer service and quality of food above simply making a profit. Ver carta
