"Our burritos were large and tasty. The Mexican beer was beer cold and the service were friendly in a German way.. Due to Covid-19 there is no indoor service you eat on the street literally speaking. Besides the tasty and simple food you can discover the very core of Skt. Pauli and the Reeperbahn in Bernard Noctstrasse 51. Which includes large anti Rasicm posters on the buildings, a melting pot of nationalities, and all what Germany have to offer in personalities. Right from the drugdealer who runs when the friendly german Polizei walks by. -Yep you heard me right,, no patrol cars. Over young woman with way too much plastic surgery, to parents with young kids and the pinstriped businessmen. There are all here.. Enjoy"

Exactamente los mismos burritos que probé en México y en California, EE. UU. ¡Y vegano! Finalmente lo encontré en Alemania

Very good food at a small price. You must be lucky to get a place right away. With great urge, you wait for a while to eat, but wait it is worth. Ver carta

La comida es increíble, una de las mejores mexicanas que he probado. Triste, no hay margaritas ni corona. Las raciones son grandes e increíbles. El servicio es una mierda.

The food is at least as good as the employees are unfriendly, as VERY. However, you should know exactly what you want to order, because the staff will have very little patience with you and if you want to have additional wishes, you better bring a helmet. Bone appetite

A Mexican restaurant with vegan options. I really wanted to like this place, the atmosphere was great and the place felt genuine. Sadly, the food was not. To me, the food felt a bit rushed and the dish lacked flavor and depth. It was okay, but I probably wouldn't go back. Ver carta

My partner wanted to eat it every day after our first try. Locals love this place, it is a real hidden treasure : Service is great, but you need to be aware that you are in Hamburg and not in the US. Please don't expect the people to be overly friendly, expect them to be slightly cold, ironic but funny and charming, as Hamburg people are :

Yesterday evening a lot went on and many people seem to know this place. We have found a place with some patience and happiness, but it is probably better to take something. Due to the protective measures, the inner area for sitting is not open. We had to wait, but when the food came, we knew that the wait was worth it. It was versatile and tasty because some own creations were there, no mass goods. It is best to fit here if you appreciate alternative cultures.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
