The royal couscous is good though the chicken is too cooked. excellent local rosé wine also served. typical decoration good service and location in downtown

this Algerian restaurant adjoining the hotel of the cathedral serves excellent couscous, tajines and wines at excellent prices. the menu is limited to these elements but they are of first order. You won't be disappointed.

Today, I've lived one of my worst experiences at the restaurant. The nightmare of the baraka children! We entered the restaurant around 7:30. . . with an occupation of approximately 5.% the server refused to assist us and invited us to leave the facility. It's absolutely unacceptable. You can simply not bring children with you. It's like bringing a pet. children = animals

walking in a place to eat on Monday night, we fell on the baraka, down the stairs of a hotel. The restaurant was very busy, but there was a free table we caught. the smell of food in the restaurant immediately told you that it was going to be a good meal, and it did not disappointed. My wife had the lamb while I had the lamb, sausage and chicken mixture. the sauce and vegetables with the meal were delicious and the couscous was perfect. the two owners/managers were very charming and friendly. an excellent evening and excellent kitchen.

We were here with a group, and even if it was perhaps a large group, it wasn't well managed. for their defense, they came to our rescue and finally managed to launch the dinner. The dishes were tasty, but I would say they were not specially gourmet. First and very disappointed. No one in the restaurant’s enclosure when we arrived, we had to wait 5 minutes before someone came to welcome us. The takeover was very long while the service of the very dishes was done very quickly without even receiving our aperitif. The waitress was absolutely not present in the room and we had to get up every time to ask what we needed. We were riddled well after finishing (maybe 1h30 after? , we managed to stop the waitress so that it would get rid of us and we took advantage of it to order a tea but the latter was never arrived after 45min waiting.
