Fantastic finding in the city. The food was excellent. Lasagna and gorgonzola pasta were exaggerated, risotto and pizza were also very good. the wine map was modest, but the Italian wine we chose was excellent. the owner was present and interagi in the right direction. very nice place I highly recommend.

We had a lot of luck having a table on a full Friday night. food was incredible and accommodating for our children. they offered children a typical child menu for € 6.50. We have a choice of pasta, pizza and risottos. very comfortable, warm and rustic. excellent environment. You have to go if you visit put.

metz is a charming city with a beautiful cathedral, a square, paved pedestrian streets, a river, parks and a university in the center. having arrived late and hungry after travelling from lyon, I didn't expect to better than the average to serve me at 10:00, but I fell by chance on santa maria and had a good dinner with excellent service. super warm atmosphere, in the center. nice dinner for two - the plate of the day of calf/jambon wrap with spaghetti was very good, the lasagnes (with fresh homemade pasta) were excellent, the Italian wine was great with our two dishes, beautiful board of cheeses in aperitif and delicious homemade panna cotta for dessert. Luigi and the staff were friendly and helpful - good assistance in English to help us who lack French.

arrested by this place on the basis of criticism on this site. the staff was very kind despite a full restaurant and my lack of French. My band had risotto and spaghetti with meat sauce. they had some risottos on the menu but the mushroom was very tasty. The shotamasu was correct, not awesome, but correct. good enough for those looking for a good meal with a good atmosphere. prices are low to medium according to what you order. It's not cheap, but it won't break the bank either.

We visited the place one Thursday night. the small square was almost full to crack, as in some other places of this street in particular, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Two guys were on duty. nice guys who speak English for you no French visitors. the red wine scicilian was pleasant. food looked and tasted good. We had a bologna lasagna, spagethi ancoise-something tiramisu, floating island, 4 glasses of wine and coffee and paid 60 €. reasonable price quality. we found ourselves looking for a lunch yesterday and consulted trip advisor to get recommendations. among the options mentioned as good choices, we fell on santa maria in the street where we walked and decided to try it. there was only one unserved table available near the door (it was a little cold when the guests came but it was such a small restaurant that the door rarely opened) but we are not the kind to let us go. - cooked and presented. The service was excellent. piccata had an excellent flavor, well seasoned potatoes and the cheesecake option for dessert was good. I couldn't have dreamed better, especially for the price!

We managed to sneak into santa maria on a sunny and busy Saturday night in metz. located in a quiet street with tables outside, it is a friendly and lively place. the menu looked good - enough for a good choice, but not ridiculously long. we were allowed to try with the antipasti mista with ham of parma, pancetta, salami, artichokes, peppers, eggplant, three cheeses and mozzarella rissoles, which we shared between us, and certainly sufficed for two. It was so good that there was nothing left. the main dishes of risotto al scampi - creamy with lots of shrimp, and linguine puttanesca - intensely scented as it should - were both excellent and more than enough. We didn't have room for desserts....

First, make sure to call at least one day in advance to book! We were lucky that someone who made a reservation didn't show up. The two shifts were complete. The service was excellent. the staff was friendly and had everything under control. They even took the time to help us choose a restaurant for Sunday (because most restaurants are closed on Sunday). The atmosphere is very cozy. The tables are close enough, but I don't mind at all. The walls are shaped in wine lockers, which was a good idea. If you are lucky and you are one of the first to enter, you can have a table outside. We had the linguine and risotto and both were well prepared.
