"This dining experience was utterly ruined by the appalling service. Admittedly we did not book in advance so we had a table outside, right at the end of the row. However we gladly accepted this. We then had bread and water delivered to the table. We then had to ask for menus, then ask for drinks before waiting a further 35 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The wine list was 34 pages on an iPad plonked in front of us! We ordered a bottle of Rose and a glass of red wine, which arrived in about 10 minutes. The wine was opened with due ceremony, including sniffing the wine cork) and poured into three of our glasses. Despite having purchased the bottle it was taken away by the waiter. My wife then pursued the waiter into the restaurant to inform him we had purchased the bottle so could we please have it back at the table. Food arrived, which to be fair was good. I asked for another glass of red wine 10 minutes later it hadn’t arrived so we asked again. Another 10 minutes, it still hadn’t arrived. When it did I had finished my meal, so I sent it away. The whole episode was largely down to the incompetence of a new member of staff, but nevertheless one has to question the level of training this person has received and how well they are supervised. This restaurant purports to be more upmarket and towards the fine dining end of things it needs to ensure its staff are of equally high quality!"

I expected more attention to quality in a Michelin restaurant. My raw seafood appetizer wss average and too expensive for what was offered. I had a nice crab pasta dish, which was served with appropriate utensils. However, I would have expected the crab legs to be pre-cracked for me because it was really creepy effort to do it myself. The wine menu was very good (I had a glass of wine). The fresh fruit bowl was served with powder sugar.... for what? Fresh fruit does not need white sugar. The staff was very friendly. The ambience was beautiful. The invoice was EUR 60.

Odd and bad experience. I asked the waiter for the grigliati di Mari wanting to try a variety of seafood. He wouldn’t let me order it. He told me I would get the fish of the day. All very strange. The fish of the day says it is cooked with potato, caper and black olive. But the plate was just fish with absolutely no flavor or seasoning and had no potato, caper or black olive. When I asked the waiter what was going on he said the fish is cooked with those items but not served with it…. The fish had zero seasoning. Hard to explain but felt like a scam. Very disappointing.
