"We were able to get a seat on the front patio without reservations, however, we were sat beyond the outside patio at a little round table under an umbrella . . . we did not mind, we are not high maintenance. The waitress came over and, when I asked in French if she speaks English, she definitely said no and pretended to not understand. No problem, my husband ordered in his best French. Locals who spoke English and French sat at the next table a few minutes later and the waitress spoke English with them for a few minutes, but when she returned to our table she again pretended she did not know English. My husband's dinner arrived after awhile and he thought it was really good. Unfortunately, they brought me the wrong dinner twice. I ordered chicken pasta in a cream sauce with morels. The third time it arrived correctly but by that time my husband had finished his meal at least twenty minutes earlier. Since we were outside the main patio area, my husband had to get up to get the waitress each time there was a mistake. Plus, my mushrooms were definitely not morels and you really had to search to find the mushrooms. The first time they served me a salmon dish, the second a beef dish, and then finally my chicken dish which was way too salty. I cannot believe anyone working in the restaurant would want their own family to have such bad service or be treated in such a way. After all this, we ended up paying full price just to get out of there. This was our 25th wedding anniversary dinner since we were on our way out of Paris. Would never eat here again. I never write anything but good reviews, just usually keep quiet, but this was ridiculous."

"This restaurant is located in Paris Nord 2 business area in Roissy near the airport. I missed my flight to the USA that day and was rescheduled the next day, so I took a room at one of the local ibis near by. First of all it’s very convenient for travelers staying overnight at one of the multiple hotels nearby. It’s the perfect accommodation. The food is good. I ordered an entrecôte that was perfectly grilled and had some beer as well. My guess had a mojito and one of the menu du jour I can’t recall. The menu offers a wide selection of meats, fish, appetizers and other French goodies. The staff was very friendly. Our server was nice and respectful. The manager (the lady with the white shirt and long dreads) was also attentive checking constantly to make sure my guest and myself were Ok. I loved the decoration as well. Couldn’t put a pin on the theme but it was a combination of rustic, modern, bistrot style. Rustic maybe from the Caribbean, but not sure. The place also accommodates for big families with tables offering many seats. When we left, I forgot my sunglasses and our server followed me to the parking lot as I walked back to my hotel room to give it back to me. Thank you very much. I would definitely come back to try some of the other interesting food I saw on the menu. I’ve uploaded some pics. Hope you can also enjoy this place."

"We have always been a fan of Ladurée and had time to spare before our flight so we decided to get a coffee and french toast before going to security. Unfortunately this was our worst visit so far. We were served by a young lady...who took care of all the customers in the restaurant. She knew her job well, but kept running around looking stressed. When we arrived we were seated as we asked for coffee and something sweet. We got handed menus in different languages and didn’t include any pastries so we had to ask for new ones. Not the end of the world but we believe it could have been prohibited if it was better staffed like that the menus could be in order and avoid stupid mistakes. As I said we ordered a coffee and french toast each. We waited about 10 minutes for the coffee that was already getting cold so we expect our french toasts to arrive only a few moments later. We drank our coffee while waiting and by the time the toasts arrived 15 minutes after the coffee, the coffee had gone cold. We ordered coffee to drink it with the toast, not to drink it in a rush BEFORE the toast because it’s getting cold. We would have preferred being served the coffee only minutes before our dish arrived. When the toasts finally arrived I remembered seeing whipped cream on the menu, something that wasn’t on our plates and we had to wait an additional 5 minutes for it to arrive. Unfortunately we were not very pleased with our visit today and we will most likely not return for the tea room at Ladurée’s airport location."
