"We met a friend of ours for dinner at La Brigout. Julien had been here several times before and recommended it. We got there first and were a little concerned that we were the only people inside. But it quickly became clear that this was a great find. The food was awesome: I had a duck parmentier, my partner had a hamburger, and our friend Julien had the bass. Every dish was simple, but very tasty and clearly prepared with knowledge and care. The bill was astonishingly low for the part of Paris we were in. (We didn 't have any wine, which helped keep the bill low) I have only one tiny complaint, and that isn 't so much about La Brigout as it is about every restaurant in Paris during the summer: doors wide open to people smoking on the sidewalk. The smoke billows into the restaurant and is impossible to avoid. I asked the waiter if we might move upstairs to the dining area there. 'Why? ' he asked. 'Because of the smoke. ' He was honestly surprised. 'But there is no smoke in here! ' There was, actually a *lot* of smoke inside, but he was unaware of it, as most smokers are absolutely unaware of how pervasive 2nd hand smoke is. I chose not to push the issues. I was, after all, and American in Paris, and I didn 't want to be That Guy. I am very grateful France passed the no-smoking-in-restuarants bill. Now I wish they would pass some sort of bill that bans smoking from within 25 feet of any open door or window. This would be a challenge, as it seems most people in France smoke. But, hopefully, people in France will gradually realize that when one stops smoking, food tastes SO MUCH BETTER. Seriously, France, do it for your taste buds if not your lungs. So the above complaint is something we encountered in pretty much every restaurant in Paris during our summer stay here. I 'm not singling La Brigout out as being any worse or better than any other place. But: if the upstairs level is open, and if you cannot bear the smell of smoke, see if you can sit upstairs. La Brigout is certainly a place we will eat in again when we return next to Paris."

Des plats simples (salade avocat-crevettes), d'autres plus recherchés (pavé de saumon sauce gingembre) feront votre bonheur.Le cadre est très réussit, surtout à l'étage où il y a plus de lumière et plus de place.Service patient, disponible et souriant : rien à redire.

Repas réservé via la fourchette, avec 3 autre membres de famille... Un bon accueil, des assiettes agréables à regarder...et à dévorer...avec des produits frais...Avec la promotion accordée, le repas était tout à fait correct, l'ambiance excellente....on ne peut donc que recommander....

Ce sont des amis qui avaient choisi ce resto qui s'est avéré être une très belle découverte ! Une carte au choix limité mais suffisant, produits frais et préparation minute. Délicieux hamburger de poulet et un cheesecake aux myrtilles à tomber... le tout dans un cadre décoré avec soin. J'y retournerai avec grand plaisir !

Locale carinissimo in stile francese e cameriere altrettanto cordiale e carino nei modi. Abbiamo ordinato un pollo al forno tenerissimo ed una tartare fresca e deliziosa, poi due dolci a base di crema e frutta. I caffé ci sono stati offerti e i prezzi sono assolutamente in linea con le proporzioni. Ci tornerei immediatamente !! Ver carta

J'ai découvert ce restaurant par hasard en cherchant dans le quartier de Sentier. C'est une agréable surprise, le cadre est "comme à la maison", des serveurs souriants et très gentils. Concernant le repas, la carte propose 5 choix pour les entrées / plats et desserts et tout est fait maison. On retrouve vraiment des saveurs de produits frais, c'est excellent !Je recommande vivement !

Very pleasant in side street with tables outside; excellent service; no distracting music. The food was very good: crab and avocado starter excellent; the parmentier du canard set off nicely with the dried apricots. All beautifully presented. Only downsides: the tarte au citron with meringue seemed more synthetic, and the coffee was a real let down. But this is a very good place, and I will return.

Au top ! L'assiette de jamòn Bellota et le Manchego un vrai délice on se croirait en Espagne ! Le foie gras est très bon aussi.L'hambourgeois poulet très bon manque juste un peu de sauce. Je n'ai pas pris de dessert je n'avais plus faim. Le rosé gris gris est très bon. Pour couronner le tout le patron est adorable. J'ai oublié un détail important le pain est parfait ! Je vous conseille vivement ce restaurant.Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Ver carta

An unpretentious entrance led to a cosy dining room with staircase to further seating upstairs. The manager was superb in his service and we thoroughly enjoyed the lunch experience. I had the menu of the day with one of the best Soups I have tasted, a beautifully prepared Mushroom Soup, thick and creamy with a crispy bacon shaving. Superb! I had Grilled Salmon and my wife Confit Duck, both with mashed potato and greens and both very good. His wine choice was spot on and we will return in the future. There is also excellent Coffee next door at MataMata a trendy barista cafe.

We searched on TripAdvisor and found this restaurant and saw the high reviews and the close proximity to where we were and decided it was a good option for us. We started out with the foie gras, my wife had the parmentier de confit de canard while I had the magret de canard with ratatouille for our main courses. We both really enjoyed our meals and our server suggested a pistachio tart topped with apricots and the two flavor profiles really went well together. We finished our meal with espresso and went on our way. The service was as great as the food and would certainly recommend it if you are in the area.
