La Cantine du Troquet

Nous avions découvert il y a 1 an la cantine du troquet.Très déçu par notre dernière visite service express et cuisine sans surprise, une cantine plutôt chic devenu plutôt ordinaire et donc à un rapport qualité/prix injustifié.

Pour une seconde visite à la cantine du troquet, nous avons dégusté des nouveaux plats avec de nouvelles saveurs.Le caillé de brebis est superbe, le lomo tout aussi bon.en dessert nous avons pu déguster la tarte aux figues rôties vraiment délicieuse.Le service est en plus rapide et très sympathique.une adresse a recommander.

Applies to this place 100%.We had the chicken and pork main courses and we're excellent suggestions of our server. Dessert shouldn't email missed as well. The Chocolate Mousse and Rice Pudding are also must try's. Surely our best dinner this Paris trip. Ver carta

After reading some great reviews of the place, I had to check it out for myself and I was not disappointed.The place is intimate and has a cozy vibe. The menu is written on a board in french, but the staff will help with translation.It seemed like all of the items on the menu where simple and elegantly put together. Only a few ingredients in each dish that complemented each other. Simply amazing food and great atmosphere, well worth a visit.

If you are looking for at non-internationalize place ; this is it! The menu is French and the waiters speak French (only) but all with charming flair! The food came quick we got a steak, it was cooked perfectly - almost crisp on the out side, pink and red. Along with redwine sauce and french fries (not the best but ok - the steak is worth it) We had dessert aswell, and a bottle of wine and was very full when we left. The atmosphere in and around was amazing and I would recommend it to everyone!

Une réputation qui n'est plus à faire ! Dès l'accueil, avec Charlotte, le plaisir de partager avec les clients la la bonne table est là. Un cadre simple et chaleureux. Les plats s'enchaînent et tout est toujours juste, avec un jus à tomber par terre. C'est un délice, le chef William et son équipe assurent ! Merci à Antoine et Mallet pour leurs conseils sur le choix du vin: le canon du Maréchal !! (Je vous le recommande++) J'oubliais, ne pas passer à côté des couteaux à la plancha, un régal!!!! We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, we were making our way back from the Eiffel Tower and didn't want to eat in the couple of restaurants prominent on the first street corner. We then came across La Cantine Du Troquet and liked the sound of the classic French menu. Two of the customers sitting outside told us that the food was really good and they weren't wrong. The wait staff were very helpful in explaining the menu and we were not disappointed in our choice - just wish we'd discovered this restaurant earlier in our stay.

Went in June for a very late supper after coming from across the world. So hot and we slowly meandered from our apartment and came across this charming place. A little off the beaten path and full of locals. Waiter and waitress spoke limited English for my very limited French but so helpful. Guided us to a Salade De Mache, which had the most flavorful fresh combination of duck and greens, with such a deft touch. Enough for the two of us so that we could have a fruit crumble for dessert. So tasty. Due to the extreme heat they kept us full to the top with water. We will go back when we return to Paris.

Familier de Daguerre ou Cherche-Midi, une escapade dans le 17ème était motivee par ma curiosité de voir comment le modèle pouvait être reproduit!Et a mon envie pour cette cuisine gourmande toute proche du bureau ...Ambiance un peu moins conviviale malgré les efforts de l'équipe, un mobilier moins cantine chic, une cuisine un peu différente, moins variée ou plus restreinte, entrées moins plaisantes, plats et desserts choisis plus conformes en qualité mais moins dans l'esprit qui est connue.L'identité "Cantine" n'est pas encore appropriée à ce lieu, un bistrot ressemblant presque à d'autre dans le 17ème.Et je n'ai pas envie d'y retourner contrairement à Daguerre par exemple...
