"We booked to stay at the Parc Beaumont hotel and the reception staff highly recommended their Jeu de Palme restaurant so after a wander around town, we decided to eat there. They found us a table on the terrace despite no reservation and we proceeded to have one of the most delicious experiences of our summer travels. The Bourgogne Pouilly Vinzelles recommended by the waiter was absolutely delicious and refreshingly not overpriced, perfectly complimenting our amazing meal. There is a choice of three starters, three mains and three desserts as well as a gastronomic tasting dinner. We went for three courses and the waitress brought up two beautifully presented and tasty amuse bouches, one after the other. The first was tiny taster mouthfuls as usual while the second was a mini tuna tartare with a menthe dressing. It was a perfect blend of flavours and set the level for the courses to come. My coeur de saumon was beautifully cooked, slightly rare inside as I like it, and served on a bed of butter beans, pea shoots and redcurrants resting in a delicious fruits de mer reduction while my husband's duck with broccoli cooked three ways and courgettes was also a hit. A reinvented tiramisu was delicious and the home made madeleines and mini lemon topped biscuits (like the two pre-starters, also on the house) rounded off a wonderfully relaxing fine dining experience. The bill came in at 115€ which was fantastic value for such a fabulous meal. We will be back!"

"Very good reception, ideally located in the center Pau. The waiter was very kind to us, making little jokes to my daughter. The dishes are very rich and tasteful, the value ratio is excellent, except the child menu that is simple but a little expensive. I highly recommend if you are looking for a good restaurant."

"L'établissement est modeste, un vingtaine de couverts, ambiance bistrot mais avec vue sur le plan de travail de la chef cuisinière. Réservation obligatoire !Accueil très sympa puis présentation détaillée des 5 plats du jour qui composeront le menu unique de ce soir. Bien équilibré. Les portions sont légères mais on ne sort pas avec la faim au ventre !Le mélanges des saveurs et la recherches d'ingrédients inhabituels sont étonnants et très agréables pour les papilles. Méfiez vous de la menthe africaine ... elle décoiffe ! Bref, un excellent dîner dans une ambiance intimiste ... bistronomique quoi !"

"I put 4/5 for the kindness of the boss. The dishes are good but really not copyy, even if the lunch menu is not very expensive, we really should make an effort on the quantity because we were always hungry when we left the table after taking the flat entrance.... It is sometimes better to put a little too much that not enough to satisfy all the customers, because having the feeling of hunger when leaving a restaurant is really bad and frustrating..."

"A very nice address, the managers/servers are very pleasant, attentive and attentive. We took a burger and a fish was perfect. Whether the cooking of meat, the accompaniment, the presentation all delighted us. The desserts were home and more than delicious. The price is consistent with the benefits. Certainly we will return.
