"If you are a lover of asparagus then this is the place to eat. for the non lover of asparagus then there is other food to eat. The service is great and the food was delicious as well. This restaurant was a recommendation from our friends and it was worth every euro. You have to book when the asparagus season is on as this place gets really busy with 2 sittings."

42 years visit this tempel for economical in season, from mid april to mid mai. the menu is quite stubborn: foie gras, spasm ham, roasted young huh, strawberry desserts with bareberries. the spade comes directly from the fields around the village, and they are beautiful...prepared and nowhere so delicate!

the location is easy to find as it sits at the intersections in the center of the village. the staff are always friendly and welcoming (and have been there for many years). the food is produced locally, very tasty and well presented. a good choice of weeping and desserts. not only to visit during the low season as their menu is good all year round.

The food is locally sourced, very tasty and well presented. A good selection of wines and desserts. Not only to be visited during the asparagus season as their menu is good all year round.

"we are so grateful for sarah in au crocodile that they recommend this place for our last night in Alsace. we started with some of the local (and very cheap weine to go with our appetizer a tarte flambé with mushrooms. before it was served, the cook(? brought us an amuse bouche from a rich mushroom veloute, with mushrooms, roasted chestnuts and some sweet perhaps sweet potato? in any case it was absolutely delicious, and a wonderful opportunity to begin our meal. next, the tarte flambé was impossible to get thin and crisp crust with a light char, with a perfect balance of creamfraiche, lardons, swirling and mushrooms. next my man chose the bouchée as recommended by sarah while I had the venison. both courts have been carefully executed and beautifully presented. his with a substantially but tender bäck in a rich sauce with calf and generous champignons, served with linguini, which seemed uncongruent for me until I had a bit of all the aromen and textures together perfect and my with 3 slices of delicate and tasteful venison served on a rich soaked, and besides nutty, the star of the plate for me was the extraordinary sweet potato puree, incredibly silky and tasteful, with hints of vanilla and muskatnuss I would be very happy to have a great bowl of him now! for dessert we shared melted chocolate cake, which was delicious, and profiterole in mini ice cream “sandwiches”, served with a deep and not excessively sweet hot chocolate sauce over it. a perfect end to a fantastic meal! myriam and the whole staff were generous and friendly, walk through the menu patient, always with a laugh or smile, although the restaurant is fully packed. next time we will find ourselves in any case (and make our reservation in advance! we are here."
