I tried this restaurant upon a recommendation and was not disappointed. The food was excellent and prepared very professionally. We tried a selection of appetizers which were fresh and tasty, followed by a truly excellent pasta. We did not try any dessert, but the dessert menus looked excellent too. We booked two hours earlier, by phone. we have relied on the average of stars in maps, and some photos. I would say that I can keep the average high, with my . very kind and helpful staff. fast service. fresh and well cooked fish. coming and seeing the industrial area, I never thought I’d find “this happy island”. appetizer of “gratinati”, very good, and fried of calamari and vegetables, good and abundant! white wine in a very valid caraffa. We'll be back!

... far away we decided to stop here, looking for a place we could reach at dinner time with good TA comments. It has been love at first glance: the place is nice and modern while the staff welcome as warm and caring as only North East of Italy can be. After having been cuflddled with a iced glass of prosecco we were delighted with a wonderful plate of raw fish followed by a crunchy fritto misto and a faboluos tagliata di tonno . Not to miss their master dessert: an uncommon and undeniably we balabced tiramisù. The final check is more than worth food quality and staff kindness. Highly recommended!!!

We moored our boat for the winter in San Giorgio and had no means of transport except for our own feet. Can you imagine how happy we are with La Darsena, providing excellent seafood (we did not stay long enough to test the meat and enjoying it for 4 evenings! We had 3 different plates of crudo (raw fish , best is the one not on the menu and dependant on the fish available. We had branzino and rombo out of the oven, perfect with mediterranean sauce and incredibly yummie potatoes! Excellent too is the fritto misto. No space for dolce we enjoyed the sorbetto al limone.
