"We were very well received at La Terrace, the staff is friendly, speaks respectable English and is very responsive. We were sad to have to sit indoors, but that is where “large” parties were placed. The terrace is upstairs and quite lovely… the dining room indoors is unremarkable tho the ancient stone walls are impressive. Everyone enjoyed their meal 7/7 people being happy is great! Our choices ranged from the Terrace Burger to the Pork Belly to the fish of the day. Truly well prepared with care and beautiful presentation all around. The profiteroles are an impressive dessert and very good… definitely order those as the quality is far superior to many. And the coffee is very good too… an unusual occurrence in France. All in all: am excellent experience. We would each return if given the opportunity. Merci à l’équipe pour un excellent repas et un très bon moment!"

"the restaurant located in front of the castle is located in an old house with lots of charm. we opt for the menu of the day to 19 euros, with hot goat salad, calf blanquette, vanilla flap (it's caramelized, it's good all is homemade and the bread provided by the papa bakery is to fall on the ground. wine glasses that accompany the meal are also houses since it is also a winery. short a good time at 53.50 euros, including wines and coffee. the service is very pleasant and the advices for the wines appreciable."

"Good surprise discovered by chance. Located away from the big streets, this restaurant gives, from the outside, a warm image that does not demente itself inside. The room is pretty small so we were lucky to have room even if the fact of arriving at 9:15 probably played. The menu has a choice of about ten small dishes of varied origin (French, Libyan, Asian, Hispanic... to share (or not, which may seem amazing but nevertheless delicious. With two small dishes each, we were pushed back, at a correct price given the quality. We have especially enjoyed for me the croquetas with a red beet sauce and for my companion the risotto. Cherry on the cake, the team is very nice To summarize, extremely recommendable restaurant"

"Excellent/Magnificent 3-night stay in a deluxe room on the ground floor, very spacious and tastefully decorated. From the first minute the tone is given by a smiling and professional reception. The hotel is quiet and has a private, secure and free parking. It is located only 10 minutes from the centre of Amboise and therefore from the Castle, easily accessible on foot (two bridges to cross). The hotel also has a beautiful garden. Concerning the restaurant: magnificent, fabulous a unique experience, a discovery of the very good gourmet cuisine. A joy to have tasted these exceptional dishes. To do absolutely! Think about booking your table because often complete. Excellent"
