decent pizza, had the bemmy that was decently bigger and had enough toppings. friendly personally all in an average Italian restaurant Ver carta

sweet Italian restaurant on the upper street with eating better than in the chain restaurants. good selection and good service would go back.

I have visited la forchetta with my family because was the only one in the upper road with a real wood-fired pizza oven, very good pizza and beautiful atmosphere, staff very welcome, we go back.

Some say that the High Street/Essex road in Angel Islington is the street with the most restaurants, eateries and bars in the whole of Europe . How true that claim is, I'm really not sure but one thing is true, you would really be spoilt for choice when i Ver carta

Had a pre-theatre meal here. I enjoyed my seafood risotto. Plenty of smoked salmon in the salad starter but not much asparagus. The salad was mostly masses of little gem lettuce. The waiter was very accommodating letting my friend have a dish that wasn't officially included in the deal we had and he also let us have a glass of wine that was not normally available by the glass.

eat, terrible service. I'm dining out all the time (as have been working in high-class catering facilities for years) and I can honestly say that I've never been treated like that. I wanted to dinner with my brother a few months ago. after the payment I asked the waiter to bring us two coffees and two grappas to finish our meal. without any warning and without explanation, the waiter refused to serve us the grappas. and he did this in an insulting personality and fraudulent wise. the manager, who laughed from behind the bar, let me be quite clear: while we had a few beers on the afternoon, we were not in any wise form...read more

Supposedly a gelateria.... This place prides itself on being a gelateria in the day. Passing it the other day and it being warm, what better than a sorbet? Me and my companion got a scoop each per scoop which is expensive. We were given the smallest scoops I have ever seen, although my companion was left even shorter than me. She mentioned this to the person serving us, who said something completely ridiculous to the effect of you can't see how much ice cream there is because it's inside the cone Further polite protestations met with no response.
