La Giomella - Carta

We had a lunch for 2 on a sunday, were quickly seated, and served with great food. The service was very good. Its a nice place with good vibe.

This was a lovely place to have dinner and I would definitely recommend this place. The service was great even for non-Italian speakers and the food tasted very good.

Found this by accident- best service and food in Tuscany. I asked why the tomatoes were so sweet and the mother of the chef said they were just picked from her garden this morning! Wow!!!

we found ourselves with friends in Asciano, and looking at the trip we chose this place. .All gone well I recommend the lonsa pig and the mixed grill .conto a little high but in the context ok

Very enjoyable evening, great food. The friendly, attentive owner and staff did everything possible to ensure a wonderful time. What a great talent this new young owner has, and he has an exceptional team. We returned after our first meal and would make it a destination if in the area. The meal was delicious and memorable! We found this restaurant on a Monday as all other nearby places were closed. The service a kid and a young lady was really attentive and kind. We had a nice mixed salad and a delicious calzone. Then we had a cotoleta, a carbonara and a pasta ragu dish all of whice were good. Nothing spectacular but we enjoyed the meal. Note that the portions are huge compared to all other dishes we were served before in other restaurants.

Although the food wasn't bad, it seems there is little knowledge of how to run a restaurant. We've traveled throughout Italy, and have always found the local vino de la casa to be quite drinkable. The wine at this restaurant was terrible. The odd thing is that when we entered every table had a bottle of wine on it, but we were never offered a wine list, and the only wine on the menu was the house wine. They have a lot to learn. Most restaurants in the village were closed on the Monday we went there, so there wasn't much choice. This was a poor one at best.

Abbiamo iniziato a frequentare questo locale appena cambiata la gestione, circa un anno fa. Che dire? Non abbiamo più smesso: materie di prima qualità, pesce da primato. Mario, il gestore e Carmela, cuoca, sono disponibilissimi a soddisfare ogni richiesta e di una gentilezza che sembra impossibile da trovare, che va al di là di amicizia e capacità professionali. Impareggiabile persona, di una cortesia e trasparenza assoluta. Se talvolta può mancare qualcosa dal menu, non è certo per carenze nella gestione, ma fa trasparire anzi la freschezza dei prodotti che per ovvie ragioni possono terminare. Un luogo insomma da frequentare sempre e del quale non è possibile rimanerne delusi. Qualunque alt... Ver carta
