"I love this address...this warm and family atmosphere...for me,we...I don't know better value address price in the canton. the strega has a varied menu with lots of hearty and really succulent dishes, I often take one of the specialties, the chicken with gambas, a delight...; it's my choice, my friend as I have daughter are always delighted. "A tourist Place If you are looking for a small unpretentious place in the heart of a pretty village, you have come to the right place! If you are looking for fine cuisine, good service and authenticity, this is not the place for you. I had dinner there last week and have mixed feelings about the place. The food was pretty ordinary though I had a chicken burger that sounded interesting on paper but did not translate into a pleasant experience. My companion had the Italian Pasta which was also pretty ordinary. Prices are moderate. As mentioned before, the restaurant is very small, just a few tables, some across the narrow street from the restaurant. It is located in the heart of the beautiful village of Fayence. The owners seem to be the sole operators: she serves and he cooks. He also talks... A lot. Both are working hard to give the place the appearance of an authentic rustic-but-genuine small restaurant; it seems too much like an act to me. It seems like they are trying very hard to cater to the tourist crowd, the type that will go back home and talk to their friends about the little restaurant they discovered that is so French..."
