La Gondola - Carta

the restaurant is located on the promenade, in the beautiful opposite. the courts mostly under 10 euro - cheap! the quality accordingly.

We only had ICE-COFFEE in the afternoon, sitting on top of the veranda and loved to have the best view to the ships coming and going on the river Main. The Ice was ok- not so bad, the service was friendly and did its best.

I ate here years ago and loved it so we went back to enjoy some yummy treats. No one there was Italian and the food and service showed that! Go to a real Italian restaurant and you'll be greeted by the owner. Only average at best Ver carta

Unfortunately, good location doesn't mean equally good eating.Tishes were dirty, the card sticky and wavy. the pizza comes on a plate with several discarded rim. the cutlery in a kind of iron, even this absolutely dirty. Conclusion: cleanliness is not an art, please invest in new pizza plate, keep the tables clean and bring the cutlery in clean keepers. unfortunately no further recommendation:(

the best at this restaurant is the wonderful location on main. There is a roof terrace at the top, otherwise you can sit outside in the ground floor. from the kitchen you should not expect too much. that is at best to be assessed as an Italian home cooking. the salat "la gondola" came in a big deep dish. the salat leaves as large as two maurers' hands, tomato slices as with the beil, the whole crowned of chicken meat and melon pieces. Well. The location is excellent. Service is fast and nice. So, one star for the girls there. This restaurant is good if you want to drink some Cola, Sprite or other bottled drinks, other options are a very bad idea. Coffee is very bad, tiramisu...was huge but taste very bad, and we ordered also Hugo and it was only sirup with some cubes of ice and I vomited from it. It was sweet and disgusting. I think, they made me Hugo hater for rest of my life. Also, food is very bad. We tried some pasta and some Snitzel, but longer time ago, and it was really not good.

the la gondola is located on the flaniermeile veitshöchheims directly on the main. it offers a large outdoor area (with sun protection in case of need), also a roof terrace with beautiful view and of course an interior area. the toilets seemed neglected to me, pity. the service is friendly and attentive. the restaurant is good bourgeois/Italian. high demands must not be placed on the menu, but I believe that this is not even the destination of this tourist resort.
