Passati per caso abbiamo mangiato le linguine alla grotta azzurra, buonissime e ricche di pesce e una ottima pasta alla norma. Gentilezza e simpatia del personale, ci è stata offerta la frutta! Ottimo pranzo. Da provare

Sono stato in visita a Taormina con la mia ragazza, una signora in una boutique ci ha consigliato questo posto e devo ringraziarla davvero tanto, cibo squisito e soprattutto delle mega porzioni. Personale di sala squisito, spero di tornare a trovarvi molto presto. Ver carta

Siamo stati accolti con grande felicità, dopo aver ordinato il cibo ed essere arrivato, siamo rimasti soddisfatti del cibo, motivo per cui ho lasciato 5 stelle. Esperienza totalmente positiva. Un ringraziamento speciale a Bartolomeo, cameriere professionale e molto molto simpatico.

Unfortunately there were some in, the lack of qr Menù but above all the presence of ancients. heavy and little presentable traditional menus and staff, everything and everywhere, though kind and courteous, without mask.

Excellent venue and not just a great venue but great meal too situated in one of the winding side streets off the Corso Umberto, the Grotto has a very atmospheric setting and majors on its fish/seafood with an impressive glass topped fridge displaying its collection. Very good service too and gets popular, deservedly so too. Well worth checking out Ver carta

Tra tantissimi ristoranti abbiamo scelto La Grotta Azzurra e vi spiego perché. All 'esterno del locale trovate la vetrina del banco pesce fresco che per il cliente è una bella immagine. Seduti ci siamo sentiti subito a casa, il Sig. Bartolomeo il padrone del locale ci ha prima consigliato poi ci ha assistito per tutta la cena. I tagliolini al nero di seppia erano ottimi, la frittura mista è stata una bellissima sorpresa con prodotti freschi e cotti alla giusta croccantezza. Le porzioni sono molto generose, i prezzi non sono altissimi ma per mangiare un 'ottimo pesce fresco va bene così.

The food was good, however, the service minimal to rude .. particularly the woman who took payment. When I asked what the first charge of 6 euros was on the bill, she claimed it was a cover charge and that all restaurants charged it. Actually .. no they don’t. If so, perhaps it’s hidden but I’ve not seen it previously. I didn’t complain, just asked. Then she proceeded to tell me it was for table cloths, napkins, etc. What?! That’s the cost of doing business and customers don’t ask you to use these things, that’s a restaurants choice. With all the options in this town, we won’t return there. Obviously they don’t rely on repeat service and treat tourists as one time customers.

We visited for lunch we were really disappointed. The waiter/owner was very abrupt and unwelcoming. We were given dry bread, no butter or olive oil. We were abruptly told one dish had finished my husband was rushed to order an alternative. The waitress was yelling very loudly aggressively in the kitchen it made the atmosphere tense not relaxing. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks about 45 minutes for our meal to arrive. It was not even fresh pasta. We saw them bringing dried pasta into the restaurant for the meals! My swordfish was average I had asked if it came with veg. The waiter told me it did but it only came with dried up lettuce! Totally over priced terrible service. Ver carta
