"this restaurant is a classic of the corner that remains of an excellent level, both in terms of services, kitchen and frame. we taste with delight the dish of the day: cute net with mirabelles and a homemade purée. others have taken holy jacques with a purée of artichoke - the verdict is the same. As always, I regret not being able to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool that is adjacent to the large terrace, and I comfort myself with the view of the bath of st Jeannet. Don't change anything is perfect."

"If you wish to have a good honest burger, I can’t think of anywhere better. Delicious meat or chicken with add on accompaniments and reasonable wine prices. I’ve been here with friends who prefer the higher end of the menu such as steaks and sea food and they are equally appreciative. Great place."

"Restaurant has been in the same family for over a generation and is a quite charming dining room. Hostess was friendly.For starters, we had a Carpaccio of Bresola which was average the other a Asparagus with scallion goat cheese & chip. Which was tasty but a little too much scallion, kind of overpowering. We each ordered the same plat which was the house specialty, chicken roasted over a wood burning fire.While we thought it was good we felt it was a little bland and should have been better @ 39EU a person for ¼ chicken. For my dessert course I finished with a frommage plate which consisted of 4 small portions of cheese which underwhelmed me.It wasn’t so much the quantity but the selection that disappointed although could be a personal taste.One of the cheeses was a strong “smoked” cheese and another a “fresh” chevre that did NOT complement each other."

"À lire les avis sur Trip Advisor, nos attentes étaient peut-être trop élevées. Nous avons néanmoins bravé le manque de charme, de terrasse et la chaleur de la petite salle de ce restaurant avec l'espoir que tout cela serait compensé par la qualité de l'expérience.La nourriture était bonne mais d'un niveau moyen par rapport à ce qu'on mange dans la région. Une partie du pain servi était même sec.Enfin, nous avons demandé l'addition au serveur alors que nous venions de terminer nos assiette car nous voulions voir le soleil se coucher... et il n'a pas manqué de nous faire savoir que ça lui avait déplu: "vous êtes comme les Américains, vous voulez payer avant qu'on ait débarrassé. Ça me complique encore plus la tâche".Il avait droit de le penser mais pas de nous le dire sur un ton aussi désagréable. Ce soir là, le cœur de la Provence n'était certainement pas dans ce restaurant qui se vante d'être 3e sur Trip Advisor à Saint-Paul de Vence."
