compliments to the restaurateur, all great plentiful at a price more than honest. as a tourist appetizer, first and second, honesty by the waitress in having me wait with the second since abundant portions. Good!

Pizza advertised at lunch, but no pizza. Fed 7 people with 3 appetizers for 110 euro. Ravioli was great, caprese delicious and bruschetta was perfect. Swordfish lunch ok, spaghetti bolognese was tasty. Views of the med are the best.

I just popped in there for lunch and ate just the worst Caprese salad in my life. In Italy one expects at least fresh herbs, not dried ones. The waitress did not care much about my presence or maybe it was just the language barrier.

To say that this was the very best Italian Vongole Pasta is an understatement. To say that the food is genuine Italian cuisine a la naturale is an understatement. Just a great meal in a genuine old fashioned Italian town. Takes a while to find, but worth the effort.

We ordered an antipasti platter, two pastas, a salad, and a cannolo and everything was excellent. It was cozy, the service was excellent, and we even made a couple friends with the people sitting next to us. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping here for a meal.

The location appears quaint, the reviews generally appealing, but we ate our worst meal in Sicily on our first evening of vacation at this restaurant. My daughter's so-called frutti di mare salad was a mountain of octopus and nothing else. The pasta dishes were way too salty. My shrimp salad was topped with so much mayonnaise-ketchup dressing that it was drowned and drenched and barely edible. The waitress was unfriendly and even hostile. It seemed as though a novice was in the kitchen. BUMMER!

restaurant was recommended by a very sweet salesgirl at a gift shop in the village square found it easily and we were not disappointed, we had three different types of pasta and we also had slow cooked meat leg of pork and leg of lamb) so very tender and delicious as so was the pasta, the dessert was not that exiting testa di turko nothing special but was re compensated with complimentary Grappa, Limoncello and Averna which went down really well after a most filling meal with ample portions , nice laid back atmosphere and good food perfect after a long drive from Siracusa
