"this could not have been better: excellent eating, great music, a fabulous atmosphere, and a team of owners and employees who make a performance from their work without the fun and the friolik who are forced or formulated. this was valentine night, and some of the dance...and singing the camaraderie with other diners later, was unique in this night, just one of these wonderful, unforgettable and unplanned occasions. yet we have left the feeling that there are many such nights in la locanda! to leave aside, this is still a small gem of a restaurant that is worth the few additional stops from the main railway station. it is by far the best Italian food that we had so far in nürnberg (four years measuring). a decent carpaccio of heavy fish was followed by an extremely intoxicating tagliatelle with truffles – as well as we both wished, we would not agree. a main carrier of the lamb was perfect – sweet rare meat and a rich barolo wine sauce. the second main quantity of mixed grilled fish was just as good, the fish tender and fresh. we tried to finish some cheese, and the selection was excellent. the wine list offers something for every budget and is well chosen. we're coming back!"

Bestens italienisch pumpkin Ravioli with Trüffeln I come here weekly. Great pastas, excellent fish and steak. Order the saltimbocca even if not on the menu board.

My absolute favorite place in Nuremberg!!! The food is delicious, the owner and host is so friendly and accommodating. Cosy atmosphere with the best truffle pasta!!! I would definitly recommend to visit La Locanda if you're in Nuremberg!

I can guarantee that they love this restaurant. I always get the caramelle de parma, but my man gets a lot of dressed. absolutely amazing. romeo and alessandro are very charming. they feel like they are in italia. seriously, you have to eat here. The...Calamari is perfect. also their truffle paste is delicious. I can't say enough about it. we are from Canada, but have lived in Nürnberg for years. we brought every visitor here. by donna and pierre mullin.

I love having dinner with Romeo and Alessandro, who run La Locanda with a family touch and make everyone feeling relaxed and happy to be here. This evening, I had the chance to try a new dish, which will feature in the menu as of...the next few days. The “nero di seppia” is made with “pesto di rucola”, it is creamy and smooth. The actual size of the handcrafted pappardelle is a pleasure to go with the amazing sauce, which has freshly cooked salmon to make the whole even more special!
