"By far our favorite restaurant in a country full of magnificent food. Massimo and Françoise have developed a repertoire of fantastic plates using typical Tuscan ingredients, but have elevated them above the norm. Each dish is prepared in the moment with expertise, and dietary issues are dealt with knowledge and care. Celiacs can be 100% confident that what they eat is free of gluten. They offer gluten free bread and pasta, both fatto a mano in a local laboratorio, and all sauces and main courses are made without gluten, or can be altered. The deserts are all made in house, and are a cut above any others. Our favorites are too many to name, but among them is the tortino de fave and baccala antipasti, the pici aglione and sporcellata pastas, the maialino arrosto roast suckling pig and the agnello lamb and of course, Bistecca Fiorentina! secondi, and every single dessert. Françoise is brilliant at choosing wines to go with your food, so we just ask her to bring what she recommends. She has a 100% success rate! Celiacs should be sure to ask about any items not listed on the menu. A wonderful experience and find in the Montepulciano/Pienza/Montalcino zone, or anywhere. Make a point to eat here."

The best feeling is to go to a place in an Italian village and be able to eat everything on the menu. Wonderful and completely unexpected. All I had was very tasty: homemade bread, pasta, cake. Very good. Ver carta

Restaurant is NOT dedicated to GF. They are aware of the celiac disease and know how to manage it. They give me some advice on what to order and serve me some Gf bread and Gf local cookies at the end. But I don't know if they're 100% safe.

We highly recommend this restaurant. Such attention to detail real candles on the table, great plating, nice music and of course really good food. Our maitre'd also recommended a perfect wine to go along with our food. If we're ever in Montepulciano again, we will visit this restaurant for sure.

What a find this place was!! Fantastic hospitality with such a beautiful couple who deserve all the success in the world. The food was beautifully cooked and presented with fresh ingredients and delicious flavours. We loved it so much we went back again. You will not be disappointed !!! Can’t recommend highly enough !!! Abbiamo alloggiato nella Torretta. La titolare molto gentile e disponibile. Camera accogliente e pulita, bagno e doccia molto comoda. La struttura è molto caratteristica. La colazione ci è stata servita in camera per le restrizioni Covid. Tv. Riscaldamento. Vicino alla struttura c'è anche un pub e un ristorante. Consigliato.

In the middle of a small town a few miles south of Montepulciano. It is very European inside. Very warm and romantic. The food is excellent. We had a Zuchini antipasti that was wonderful followed by a pork pasta dish and a chicken main course that were exceptional. To end we had panna cotta that was to die for. Very reasonable prices and a very nice hostess rounded out a 5 star evening. Do not miss if you are in the area.
