Amazing food! Lovely place. Great staff. Would definitely go back there. We had Haddock (special menu), Chocolate Pot, Baked White Chocolate Passionfruit Cheesecake. Would recommend this place!

Christmas Day lunch was exceptional. We were a party of 5 and welcomed with a glass of mulled wine into a lovely atmosphere. The food was fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. I have to mention the professionalism of the service staff as they were attentive and pleasant but not intrusive. A very enjoyable experience.

Came for Sunday lunch and called up last minute and was able to get a table. The staff were very friendly and Taylor was really attentive. The food was outstanding had the fish cakes to start and beef for main and was full of flavour and cooked beautifully. The price was right for what we had. The most perfect food at La Luna last night for date night. Everything tasted amazing. Well worth a visit. Lush vibe, friendly staff and an affordable menu. We had the set menu including calamari, crispy beef, steak with peppercorn sauce (the best I ever had), bread and butter pudding and chocolate pot. Every bit of it was delicious.

Let us book the private booth upstairs for a birthday to then be told when we got there that the booths arent open upstairs during the week and we’ll have to sit in the restaurant, this was disappointing as we’d had balloons and decorations ready to decorate the room upstairs. We wouldn’t have come here if we’d known we couldn’t book the booth! Regardless of that, the food was fab and the drinks were fab, service was mediocre, didn’t do anything to stand out.

Had a fantastic meal with the family , we all had the set early dinner meal , there were 7 adults and 1 child on our table and all had a variety of starters and mains and all were delicious! The haddock was the nicest I’ve ever had , you could not fault the service , the gentleman who dealt with us ? The Manager was brilliant, so attentive to the little one in our party which made her day . If I had one tiny issue, it was the volume of the music .. but we were right by the speaker system and I’m sure if I had asked, they would have turned it down,… will definitely be returning. Visited with a group of 51 others. We had all pre-ordered our meals as we were such a large party. Very well organised. I had Seafood Cocktail, Turkey with seasonal vegetables and a Bailey’s chocolate pot. Everything tasted lovely and was well presented. Staff were efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend La Luna. Drinks expensive, but that’s the same everywhere. Only gripe I have is the area they use for a large party isn’t really suitable. We were separated on several tables, one of which was a very long table like a canteen so difficult to interact with others in your party.

Having visited La Luna on many occasions my wife and I have always found this family-owned restaurant to provide imaginative and wholesome food.It is always presented in a helpful and friendly way by all serving staff.Whether it is before,during or after the meal there is always an attentive and knowledgeable member of staff on hand to assist you in your choices.This creates an atmosphere of calm but lively celebration ideal for couples or larger groups.In our experience it has always provided excellent food wonderful service and superb value for money.Try it! We are sure you will not be disappointed.

Firstly .. the whole restaurant needs a complete overhaul .. shoddy and shabby dated decor .. the light fittings were thick with dust and grease .. sat facing mirrors .. my view dirty walls and skirting boards, dried out imitation plants and dirty velour chairs at the table facing me .. the music was loud and inappropriate for a restaurant Bare tables, no condiments. My £8 glass of wine was served in the most basic of cheap wine glasses .. water served in a glass with a straw stuck in it .. no jug for the table .. dirty shabby menus .. ordered crispy beef. .. served luke warm and not crispy.. asked the obvious crispy beef ?? to be told it’s crispy beef but not crispy as it’s their signature...
