La Maison De Marie - Carta

This is where we take our friends. Always good. Staff friendly. Lovely setting out of the business. Their Nicois menu is a great deal with winderfum choices.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. I am so glad it was, the food was divine and the ambiance and décor was perfect. The food was good value for money as was the wine.

We asked for a nice and classic french food restaurant and they sent us to la maison de Marie, we were disappointed we didn't ate nice. They have nice staff and a nice place, but I think it's really for tourists that doesn't know to eat good and the real french food. Ver carta

6 of us had various meals from the set menu, smaller portions than if ordered from the main menu, the food was ok nothing brilliant sea bream was well cooked and presented well enough but poor quantity of vegetables, the other half had rabbit good portion but not the best flavoured, others had small complaints but nothing major, would I re-visit probably not!

My friend and I came here for the authentic french cuisine, and were not disappointed. They have menu of the day which include an appetiser, main course and a dessert. The resto's environment is very ambient and calm, had an enjoyable lunch there for two days that we were in Nice. The waiter was very friendly and humorous, and able to speak English (which is quite important). Recommend!

A restaurant nestled away from the high street with a tree covered courtyard. It's lovely to sit here on an evening. The service is friendly and efficient. I've been a number of times; I'm vegetarian and there's limited choice but the pastas are delicious. If you're vegetarian be careful the menu does not list all ingredients and some dishes e.g. Stuffed peppers sound vegetarian but include meatFood is always flavoursome Ver carta

This restaurant was great. The service was a bit slow due to our not knowing what we wanted to order quickly enough. I had pesto gnocchi which was fabulous. They served olive tapenade with crispy yummy bread. My husband and friend ordered a penne pasta in cream sauce with ham. They both enjoyed it. The only thing not loved was the Salad Nicsoice (sp). Had tuna, olives etc and its the dish the city is known for. I would return back anytime! The courtyard was cool even on a warm evening. Enjoyed it!

The only good thing about this restaurant is the ambiance - a very pretty, flower-filled courtyard. The hostess & our waitress were rude. When we walked in, my husband asked the hostess for a menu in English. Instead of handing him one, which would have been the proper thing to do, she pointed to them, indicating he should get it himself. The waitress removed our partially-eaten basket of bread before the she served the main course. My husband politely asked her why and she asked him what his problem was & then claimed she didn't understand what he was saying. After dinner at a nearby restaurant me and my girlfriend decided to go to La Maison De Marie for some coffee and deserts. We walk into the restaurant and it was maybe 60% full (Sunday evening around 10 pm). A restaurant worker (female, around 33-35 years old, black hair) comes up to us very friendly and asks what she can do for us, we say that we would like to have coffee and desert for two people and have in mind here that deserts & coffee is around 40-50 euros for 2 people.Her face changed immediately and she made a scene in front of everyone and told us super rude that they don't have space for us and asked us to leave.
