"I learned about this location from my (now Italian husband's family, who are from a small town nearby. They had attended another family member's wedding here and raved about the view, food and service. It turned out to be the perfect venue for our wedding. Davide, the manager, is incredibly professional and responsive (especially via phone and internet as we were planning our wedding from the U.S. . Everything turned out better than myself and my husband expected both the American and Italian guests raved about the food (incredible appetizer buffet, delicious cuts of meat, incredible presentation of desserts, etc. . We also ate here for lunch several times before and after the wedding and were incredibly pleased with the flavor and quality of the food. Arqua' Petrarca named for Francesco Petrarca, a renaissance poet who wrote often about love and romance and this area definitely lives up to it's name (it was named one of the 100 most beautiful areas in Italy . Nestled amongst rolling hills lined with vineyards, the Canzoniere offers beautiful views and an amazing outdoor terrace space where we had our appetizers, desserts and dancing. Conveniently, there is also an attached hotel, Villa del Poeta, where our guests stayed for 3 days. We were able to work with Davide and local businesses to coordinate a vineyard tour, a trip to the Terme (hot springs , and a delicious pizza rehearsal dinner. I would highly recommend this area and restaurant to anyone looking to plan a wedding or just planning a romantic trip to a place that is not yet overcrowded by tourists in Italy."

"This restaurant was recommended by a good friend . ITS SITUATED IN A LOVELY HILL VILLAGE IN THE TRANQUIL EUGANEI HILLS. We had a light lunch of gnocchi with vegetables , and a cheese filled tortelloni with a pea sauce and some crispy Pancetta on top. My darling had some vegetables , a nice pepperonata and some green beans , I had a salad doused in some extra virgin olive oil and a good quality balsamic vinegar. All we ate was delicious , fine quality home made pasta , well seasoned and nicely presented. The menu is not big , it does not need to be , its substantial and interesting. The restaurant is decorated in stoney colours with linen curtains , the table linen is fashionable the crockery good quality. Its a comfortable place . The outside terrace overlooks a verdant valley . I like this place , I think I will bring a group of friends one sunday lunch. Its casual, its friendly,"

"Ho avuto modo di cenare in due occasioni ravvicinate, la prima in gruppo (festa di laurea di un amico) e la seconda in famiglia. Sono voluto tornare perché la location è davvero molto bella e spaziosa, la vista sul retro che dà sui colli è davvero bella e suggestiva perciò volevo condividere questo anche con i miei parenti. La cucina è stata in entrambe le occasioni ottima e mi ha soddisfatto in pieno: la cena di laurea prevedeva un menu prestabilito che è risultato tutto in ordine, prodotti freschi, ottima cottura in particolare quella a bassa temperatura del maiale. Nella seconda ho scelto alla carta, tutti piatti diversi tra me e gli altri, tutti rimasti contenti. Le porzioni sono adeguate, non eccessive e non scarse. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo gli gnocchi, gli agnolotti ed anche i secondi oltre al dolce ed il vino. Servizio cortese, giuste le tempistiche tra una portata e la successiva. Insomma non posso che consigliarlo! Un plauso allo Chef Mattia per la tecnica, la passione e la creatività Il ristorante ha anche delle stanze per dormire in caso."

"simple and genuine wedding to choose the smart as a place for our wedding was the best choice we could make! the answer to our contact mail arrived in a very short time, with already attached a proposal of menu suitable for the chosen period. we immediately realized that behind some lines there were so much passion and professionalism!
