"Nach dem Besuch des Schlosses Neuschwanstein fuhren wir auf dem Weg nach Hause, auf Empfehlung von Freunden, ins nur 30km entfernte Marktoberdorf zum Restaurant "zum Sailer". Der Hunger war groß, die Vorfreude aufgrund von Erzählungen von Freunden, noch größer. Das Gasthaus "zum Sailer" war am Wochenende sehr gut besucht. Die Leute vom Service hatten alle Hände voll zu tun und trotz allem fühlten wir uns gut umsorgt und nicht "abgefertigt". Unsere Kellnerin war sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden von ihr gut beraten und entschieden uns schlußendlich für das 3 Gang Menü in der herrlichen Kurfürstenstube. Alle 3 Gänge waren ausgezeichnet. Die Empfehlung unserer Freunde würde ich hiermit gerne an alle trip advisor Mitglieder weitergeben. Leistung gehört sich belohnt und hier bekommt man was für sein Geld (Regionalität und Qualität der einzelnen Produkte)!! Bis zum nächsten mal im "zum Sailer"! Ich komme bestimmt wieder. Ps Danke an das Service Team. Ich habe mich selten so gut umsorgt gefühlt!!"

"Tagesgericht war gefülltes Schweinefilet mit selbstgemachten Spätzle, Bratensaft und Pilzrahmsoße. Handwerklich gut gemacht, sehr lecker und für unter 9 Euro eine Wucht. Ambiente sehr gepflegt und liebevoll gemacht allerdings nicht ganz mein Geschmack. Spielt aber keine Rolle. Erstaunt waren wir von der Whiskey Karte. Eine Seite und davon nur 3 Stück amerikanische. Der Rest wirklich sehr gute Whiskeys welche die volle Bandbreite abdecken. Eigentlich wollten wir gar nichts Trinken aber man hat selten die Gelegenheit aus so einer Auswahl zu kosten. Bedienung war auch sehr gut Informiert."
