La Pineta - Carta

We were looking for pizza it was near our hotel (walking distance). The service was great and friendly. The pizza was delicious! Great atomosphere!

Not that t here is a wide range of restaurants on offer in the city, but this is a good standard Italian cousin with a friendly staff and nice garden area.

While visiting upper Bavaria and staying in Kochel - we hit this restaurant twice. Very, very nice. The Spaghetti Grazia blew me away. We only did lunch, the service was outstanding. Ver carta

Excellent Italian food and from a genuine Italian kitchen. Sitting outside on the garden terrace with views up to the Jochberg, the atmosphere was stunning and the food was of the highest standard.

We had an amazing evening at this restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was heavenly. It’s better to book a table in advance. We were without booking and it took around 20-30 minutes for us to fit in.

It smelled good and I am sure the food is good but if you don't have a reservation, you are probably not going to get to eat here. 'Not sure how you make a reservation if you are international and don't have an international phone and the restaurant has been closed for the 24 hours before your arrival in Kochel.... That is not their concern. Go elsewhere if you are on a schedule. Ver carta

I go regularly to this restaurant with customers. The family leading the restaurant is from the Calabrian region in Italy, at least the mother. She is proud of the calabrese pizza which is her specialty. The family is very friendly. The inside decoration is fine. Please ask for special knifes if you eat a pizza. Last time they did not come automatically. Sometimes the restaurant is full. Booking in advance recommended.

Very good Italian food. You won't find American style Italian food, which is a great thing! Nice owners and polite staff. The service can make you wait, like most European dining but well worth the wait. If you sit on the back terrace there is a nice view of the surrounding mountains. The menu is a bit southern Italian. My vitello tonnato was good. If I were in Italy, I might not have been as excited, but for being in Germany, I highly recommend this restaurant.

We arrived before 6pm on a Friday evening. First we were greeted with an over-friendly and very loud 'Buona sera'. Then we were asked if we had reserved. When we said no, it only went downhill from there. Us was the husband, our 2,5 year old and me. As we arrived in Kochel a few hours before, we decided spontaneously to eat there. I am used to making reservations in Munich restaurants weeks in advance (which takes out all spontaneity and fun of an evening for me), but we're talking Kochel am See here, a very sleepy town in the alpine upland, pre-season!We were seated outside on their terrace, feeling lucky that it had an awning attached as it was pouring down with rain.The service was extrem...
