"On a sweltering 95° evening in July, my family and long-time friend decided to go out for dinner. We settled on a little pizzeria located just a few hundred feet from the marina where our dinghy was docked. The waiter and waitress’ were very friendly and attentive, always making sure we had enough cold water. The wait was short for our food and the pizza was delicious, baked in an old style pizza oven with perfectly crispy thin crust. This little spot felt like a hidden gem, it was quiet and had a very relaxed atmosphere. We were all satisfied and feeling good. Then, suddenly, this place didn’t feel quite as friendly as it let on… I remember seeing it happen so vividly (the entire front entrance and south-facing wall is glass). A young waitress wearing glasses is headed towards the door to bus a table as a group of customers approach the entrance, as she walks past her boss (an older man looking to be about 30 years older than her) he grabs onto her braided ponytail and jerks her back from the doorway. He did so with enough force to stop her in her tracks. A look of fear on her face as he brings her to his side and pats her shoulder, smiling to the incoming guests so nonchalantly it makes me sick to my stomach. After witnessing this I tried to keep an eye on them, wondering if at some point the boss would apologize to her- or in some way address what he did. I don’t have much more to say. I am ashamed that I couldn’t muster the courage to say something, I didn’t want to cause a scene or make things worse for that poor waitress. I hope that writing about this incident encourages others to speak out, and that this business owner doesn’t continue to get away with physically harassing his employees."

"I've been on the private beaches of the lecques for almost 35 years, a little more than my age. I started coming as a child and now I'm taking my own children. We are up to 4 generations together. Unfortunately last year the concessions were redistributed and the beach where we had our habits disappeared...As there were for all tastes, now all the beaches look like themselves and offer a bling bling lounge atmosphere. Come to the open beach, notice that open is an ironic name for a private beach...First the beach: the sand, the sunbeds and the parasols are the same as elsewhere. apart from the colors if you can distinguish the mole from the gray galet. good point, 2 paddles are available and the staff is perhaps a little more feminine than elsewhere. The main problem of the beach is the guests, and especially the knowledge of the boss and the 2 lieutenants (associated?)So we have the cigar smoker, who scents the beach from morning to night. the group of girls who put music on his phone. and the children, I plead guilty. but those of friends will look for paddles and instead of putting them back to their place once they finish, they keep them in front of their mattress or abandon them on the beach next to them. well on the staff doesn't say anything about these behaviors because they are friends. However, when a friend demands a paddle, you must quickly run and share. side kitchen is also half fig mi reason, the dishes are fig (I don't like it) and the desserts are grapes (I love it)So the dishes were tested:- burger: 2 ordered to point, one arrive blue/saignant the other well cooked (too). The bread is good but the sauce has no taste. - César salad: first time I see this: no parmesan and 2 different sauces!!!! a white sauce with no flavor on the surface and a vinaigrette at the bottom of the plate the presentation is nice but it is not a caesar salad!!!The desserts:- gourmet coffee: change the usual combo. a fresh fruit salad, a donuts/beignet and a slice of chocolate cake. A heart attack. - Strawberry cut: tasteful and good whipped served next to it. snacks:- ice cream cornet/bâtonnet: very few availability compared to supplier panel! 1/3 of magnum for example. - nothing to eat in the morning with coffee (except speculos) no Viennese mills or we donuts. - I've seen waffles pass but not tested. the drinks:- the rosé served with the glass is not terrible, a little winey and is served from the outset with ice cubes without asking the customer's opinion. - bottled drinks (water, sodas, etc.) are already open on the table. Everyone has his opinion on this practice, I personally don't like it. short the season only starts, it is still time to adjust the shot. I'll come back to see in August if there's the best and I'll adjust my opinion if there is. ah yes one last thing, the whole beach is aware that Monday's rest days are cancelled and there is a meeting! It's already good to be aware that things are not going."
