La Plassa - Carta

After several days with seafood it was due for some meat. The burgers were super good and the atmosphere in this petit piazza is wourth a visit.

Nestled in a tiny square this busy restaurant servers high quality food with a smile. The prices are very reasonable and the waiters were amazingly friendly.

We ate at this restaurant on Friday and the meal and service was faultless - we were served by the owner/manager who was very attentive and also remembered us from previous visits - we have been to La Plassa, Nice several times over the last four years. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next evening - unfortunately not such a good experience. Ver carta

We ate dinner here on our last night in Old Town. Location is very convenient. Down a quiet street with a lot of outdoor seating on a rainy night. Staff was kind and prompt. My husband ordered a burger (burger is thick so if you like it medium-well, ask for well done.) and I ordered pasta. Both meals were very good. A great spot for a low key dinner or lunch!

While strolling through the old part of Nice and looking for a place to have a bite, we found this restaurant in a small square with a free table outside. Ended up having an amazing meal (our group had gorgonzola burger, chorizo pizza, vegetarian pizza and gnocchi pesto and they all were very good). The service was attentive and atmosphere very cosy. Our desserts were delicious as well.

We (2 adults, 3 children) had dinner here. Food was great, prices very good, has a children menu so we could order child meals without big adult sizes. Meals included pizza, pasta, some meat dishes and burgers. Drinks (including wine) were good prices. All up for our meals and drinks including wine, beer and aperitif, was approx 83 Euro. We ended up eating here as our favourite restaurant opposite was actually closed during our visit, however we was not disappointed. We decided to opt for the fresh homemade burgers with potatoes and salad, and wow they really where something special, the potatoes were the best I have ever tasted, burgers are cooked to your liking on homemade bread and absolutely Devine. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant

We headed for this restaurant based on reviews on TripAdvisor, especially as the sheer number of restaurants in Nice was overwhelming. We were not disappointed. It's tucked into a quieter square in the old town with a nice atmosphere. There was something on the menu to please everyone in our group which included a vegetarian and a hardcore carnivore! The staff were lovely and it was great value. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

It's always worth doing a little bit of research before heading out for dinner and La Plassa did not disappoint. We felt a little bit guilty for ordering two burgers in the South of France. Everything appeared to have been prepared fresh and the Waiter was very accommodating. Would have liked a little bit more of help choosing a drink from the menu rather than being up sold the rather more expensive imported bottled beer. Food was lovely though, just to my liking.
