"We were struggling to find restaurants with a family friendly menu in Fouesnant. We came m across this restaurant while walking across the village centre. This restaurant is family friendly with a wide variety of home cooked food. The chef is excellent. Everything was fresh, well made and tasted superb. The two ladies serving were attentive. The kids food was very well cooked and delicious as well. My "fussy" children finished off the chicken and they had a choice of ice cream as well. This restaurant deserves a higher rating. We both had moules frites and it was superb. For 4 or us and a bottle of wine the bill only came to 78 Euros.PS their Website has incorrect opening times. It is better to call to book. It is definitely closed on Mondays."

Simple and fun, busy and good value with helpful staff. A recommended casual night out close to Mousterlin.

Great food, chef didn't hesitate to use fresh herbs and spices. Breton food with a twist - what a pleasant surprise ! staff was great.

Had cured salmon which was lovely the entrecote steak which could have been better rather a lot of gristle and fat for a prime rib steak. Service peasant and good.

It's all a bit chaotic on the face of it front of house but the place delivers some really nice food and the service is really friendly as well as amusing as the the staff jog between tasks. The menu du jour delivers great value and the brown shrimp delivered and eaten whole with aperitif are gorgeous!

Best meal this lovely little restaurant has produced for me. The tartare of sea bass was delicate and wonderful. The pork served with clams was formidable. The boy had the salmon followed by the squid with squid ink tagliatelle - he was chuffed with it. Service was its wonderful self. Busy times mean you wait a while longer but the wait is worthwhile. Ver carta

Camping in Fouesnant, at L'Atlantic, we ventured into the town for a meal. This restaurant looked good with a varied menu.On entering we were shown to our table and given the menu selection. The waitress went out of her way to help us understand what dishes were available. I chose the crab with apple for starters and Calamari in an onion sauce with potatoes. My wife had melon and fish for main course. Both meals were excellent, the waitress great and the ambience lovely. Pay a visit here if you're in the area.

"We wanted a nice place to stay for our last night in France. Somewhere with a good restaurant and a room with a view, within hours of Roscoff. We found the hotel and restaurant Belle Vue which appeared to tick all the boxes. The...website lists a number of different types of rooms and the double with bath had a lovely picture of a double room with large windows and a sea view so we booked it. On arrival we found we had not booked that room at all but a bland double room overlooking the car park and a roof. I was obviously not the first, as the lady on reception said it had happened before when booking via the website and we ought to phone to secure the room we want! We also chose this hotel due to its ‘restaurant’ and good reviews on trip advisor but unfortunately this wasn’t up to the mark either. It is more like a hotel dining room than a restaurant which would be fine except for the amount they are charging. We did have a table with a sea view which was appreciated. We ordered a bottle of wine but were not invited to try it. We ordered starters and mains from the a la carte menu but not desserts (standard restaurant practice) but were informed that if we ordered desserts later we would have to wait for them. We were delivered butter but had to ask for bread. The food was OK but nothing amazing. Overall during our time in France, we had better meals and stayed at better hotels for better value, so will not be returning"

"We were staying at a nearby campsite (L'Atlantique) and decided to visit the Beg Meil on a exploration of the coast. We parked near the Chapelle Saint-Guénolé and walked down to the coast - lots of lovely little coves and nice views that we stayed longer than expected and we were soon hungry for lunch. We ended walking up a dirt road further north hoping to hit the main town center. We saw a few places to eat but the Creperie de Kervastard had a nice open area with trees out front and plenty of customers to make us give it a try. We were not disappointed!NOTE: The location in TripAdvisor on their map is not correct. I will attach a Google Map "photo" of the actual location. Address is 22 Rue des Glénan 29170 Beg Meil Fouesnant. The service was quick - we needed a table cleared to sit and they accommodated quickly. We checked the menu and I was happy to see more then just crepes as i was hungry from climbing over rocks etc. Also my 8 year old son is not too keen on galettes. He and I ordered steak haché which came with frys and a salad - we both enjoyed the burger! My wife and father-in-law had galettes. My wife had the crêpe champignons à la crème - she raved about the creme sauce as well as the texture and flavour of the galette. My father-in-law had the crêpe jambon, fromage and was also suitably impressed. He and I split a half liter of Breton cider as well - very nice and refreshing! We decided to have dessert and ordered a few sweet crepes (my son had chocolate ice cream :-). My wife and I both ordered the crêpe pomme, caramel - I had it with a scoop of ice cream which the put inside the folded crêpe (nice touch!). The salted caramel sauce with the apples was wonderful! We both spent a good 5 minutes exclaiming "Mmmmmmm..... Mmmmm!!" My father-in-law had the chocolate and toasted almond crêpe and he loved his as well. The service throughout was good. The staff spoke in French but understood and could respond in English if needed. The restaurant do take credit cards if needed for tickets over 10 Euros."
