"We discovered this little gem just of the petit port of Annecy toward annecy le vieux. The view from the terrasse is over the lake so nice to sit here on a sunny day. The restaurant has been here for a while but I never...had a chance to get in until now. I should have as it is amazing in every way. The service is extremely friendly from either the waitress or Carine the owner. The food is delicious and home made with great ingredient. Make sure you keep some space for the dessert as they are to die for. We had lunch there and decided to come back there to order some buche de Noel as the restaurant offer the pastry, some bread and other delicatessen to take away. They had an issue with one of the ingredients (didn't received it) so we had the choose another buche. To appologize we got some gateau de savoie (local cake) offered as a commercial gesture. The buches were gorgeous and very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch, afternoon tea or gwtting some pastries to go home. Make sure to book as it gets pretty busy. Thanks a lot Carine and mrs waitress (sorry I don't know you pr name) for this wonderfull welcome. We felt at home."

Asked to wait for a table only to be told the restaurant would now close. Worst service and attitude we’ve ever experienced.

Great views and atmosphere- the food is on but nothing extraordinary. But the service was soooo slow- and when I tried to go to the cashier to get water or later the bill, I was ignored. Wouldn't go back- shame for them as I live in this town.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Geneva airport after a skiing holiday. We had a lovely meal overlooking the lake and would recommend anyone on the same journey with time to spare to do the same. The service was occasionally a little eccentric but always charming.

A outstanding restaurant which is a product of love and care. Cerine and Sylvie were genuinely caring right from the start and made sure we went back happy and full. The place has a cosy ambience with fur rugs, lottery and books all along. The...pastries and cakes are amazing. Will be back....

We came here for lunch, and we loved it so came back for dinner twice. The waitress looked after us really well and as my husband needs a gluten free option they were very helpful. I agree with a previous. Review about Carine she was lovely and made really good pastries. We ate here in July 2016.

Nice located across from the lake with private parking available. Good quality was good and outdoor seating area was nice. Only reason I gave 3 stars is that the restaurant has a couple of big dogs and they were roaming the place freely with no leach. They scared a few kids and despite several complaints, the staff didn't seem to been very keen on controlling the situation. Ver carta

We stopped here for lunch after a walk along the beautiful lakeside. The restaurant has a slightly rustic look from the road but do not let that discourage you. As it was winter, we ate inside, in the rather cosy dining area but the terrace...has a beautiful view over the lake. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. A great deal of care is put into each dish. While they are based on classic French and some Italian dishes, they also have a degree of originality. The prices are not low but very reasonable for the quality. You can also buy bread and their excellent patisserie to take away. We'll definitely be back.

"We had a weird feeling about this restaurant when we were given 2 menu books WITHOUT any price at first. Turned out that their gastronomic pricing didn't match their brasserie standard at all. My friend asked a couple of questions about some dishes, the waiter...was very puzzled and passive, said a couple of times that he didn't know. After that, we were served some kind of MUSHY OLD bread before the meal. If this was a sign of welcoming from the owner, then he failed right there. In our main courses, apart from the meat and fish ingredients, each of us got half of a small potato, 1 small stick of leek, 1 lonely cauliflower, some smashed petit pois with the size of a small coffee capsule, and 1 line of smashed carrot. Looks like the quantity one would place on a plate of a gastronomic restaurant with 8 courses, except that this is NOT a gastronomic restaurant, from the plastic menu, the furniture, the old bread, the cutleries, the different menu pricing and the service which failed to describe the dishes. The worst part, was when the waiter came and asked us if everything went well, I gave him the feedback that the food was good but the veggie was way too little. He first proposed us to eat more dessert, then when I said no, he got so upset and defensive that he even pointed at the kitchen telling me that I should go to see the chef and discuss with him myself. Why bother asking your client how their meal was if you can't receive a candid feedback? Being a frequent traveller, coming from the hospitality industry, I have to say this place is to AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Unless you have too much money and eating next to a canval is way more important than being treated in a disrespectful manner, and leaving the restaurant with a happy stomach."
