Friendly Italian restaurant - good food. Our first night in Tours we ate here. Pleasant meal and good service.

On a recent holiday we chose to return every evening to this restaurant because the food was so delicious and the atmosphere was good.

Really enjoyed our dinner we had in this restaurant....not a vast choice from the menu but the food was good but the portions are not so big, is a problem for heavy eaters. After all I recommend it! Ver carta

Had a lovely meal --cold meat platter followed by duck carbonara: the food was tasty and portions very good. We found all the staff very pleasant and helpful. Would certainly go back there if in Tours again. Recommend a visit.

We were in a hurry and dropped in for a quick lunch. What a good little find. Great atmosphere quick service and best of all very good Italian food, it wood make my Mamma proud of being Italian. Try any of the pasta dishes they're great.

Nice to find a great meaty salad packed with fresh greens in a French Italian restaurant. The pizza was also full of ingredients, beef with raw onion and lots of un-cooked mushrooms which was a bit odd! Good service, English spoken, English menus but you had to queue at the till to pay the bill which I hate! Ver carta

A great Italian restaurant. My wife and I had a lovely meal and bottle of wine. I don't speak French but am quite proficient in Italian so thought I'd get in a bit of practice on the waiter. Unfortunately he did not have any Italian but his English was excellent. The interior was bright and welcoming, a good variety on the menu, well cooked and tasty. I definitely recommend this.

On our way home from Vannes, France to Geneva, we drove through Tours. La Scalla looked so inviting we decided to have lunch. They offer a good variety of meals so there is something for everyone. The decor is cozy and fun with clowns and other decorations plus the restaurant seems very clean. Our server was super nice. We don't go to Tours much but if we did we would dine here again,

Started off on a roll with a wonderful carpaccio, followed by pretty good carbonara pasta with duck, but finished off with very disappointing tiramisu... Outside terrace seemed like good idea because of warm evenig, but traffic noise was rather offputting since we were right a traffic light, and being basked in the exhaust fumes of stopped cars. Not a memorable experience by any means... Ver carta
