"Having witnessed a pregnant lady not just been denied to use the toilet facilities, but almost been thrown out of the restaurant made me disgusted with the lack of humanity and money orientated behaviour this restaurant presented! I understand the principle of “toilet usage is for paying customers” (working in the industry for almost 12 years), however if a pregnant woman entered my café asking for the bathroom while explaining how she is not feeling well (offering to purchase), under no circumstances would I deny my help (especially as a mother of two). Several guest including my husband and I were looking at each other shocked, questioning whether we should interfere, but decided just to leave after our drink to eat somewhere else. This hotel/restaurant has a lot to learn not just about general customer service, but basic humanity!"

We found this a good place for coffee and pastries - it has a pleasant outlook and was centrally located.

We had missed the lunch sitting (ends at 2:00 as most of France) so we just enjoyed drinks on this spectacular terrace.

Sat on the terrace overlooking the steep valley below. Great meal of local cuisine. Excellent service and reasonable cost. Euros 70 for two people. Highly recommend. Ver carta

We made a mistake eating here. The great view and location fooled us. For lunch, I ate the duck special (canard) which was very tough and ****. My wife's salad had a hair in it and the chicken was processed. It was a very bad experience.

Acceding from the stairs, about half way down to the Rocamadour village, this is the first restaurant we run into. We decided to eat lunch here because of the view it offered. From the terrace you can see the entire surrounding area as well as...More

In the midst of all the little tourist restaurants, which can be good, we found some of the best food we've had during our week in France, including several days in Paris. The lamb was perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. We also had a charcuterie board and each cut of meat was full of flavor and melted in your mouth. Our cheese dessert plate had a lovely mix of 4 cheeses, including the ever-present Rocamadour goat's cheese. The staff was friendly and accommodating, with a terrific wine recommendation and great service. Ver carta

Having walked down from the castle on a hot day, we were ready to sit down on the lovely terrace and take in the superb view, as well as enjoying some lunch. Although, once it arrived, the food was palatable enough, we waited almost 50 minutes for our starter to arrive, then when it came, it was the wrong order. By the time we were actually served the food we had ordered, we had been seated for an hour. The food was not bad, the prices about average for the area, and the ambiance was great, but a little more attention to customers would have been welcome.

The restaurant appeared quite full when we arrived but we were seated at the back terrace away from the tables near the entrance that are a little more cramped with people traffic, so with children we were more than happy with the table on their back terrace. The restaurant sources their products from the region and everything on the menu was enticing. The duck and sausage were delicious - the protein cooked beatifully and served with a delicious vegetable stew and simple but fresh salad. All six of our meals were very good and that topped off with lovely wine and a spectacular view over the valley made our visit very memorable.

"Myself and my partner strolled in to this bar restaurant after a really lovely time around Rocamoudour. We greater the lady behind the bar with a polite "Boujour" of which she didn't peel herself away from her phone as we walked past to the balcony area with the view. After a few minutes my partner decided to walk up to the bar as there were numbers on the table and we weren't sure if we needed to order the drinks ourselves or if it was table service. When he got to the entrance he was quickly shooed away and spoken to in French. After cleaning several tables she finally came to take our order, at this point we were the only customers. When she arrived with the drinks I asked her if we could have the wifi code of which she responded rather abruptly "non", which we thought was rather odd as the wifi code was named after the bar but we didn't mind. After this we carried on enjoying our drinks and a gentleman walked passed us with an arm full of tobacco and greeted us with a smile and good evening in French. However the women who had been rude to us went on to talk about my partner walking up to the door and how she was in a middle one another order and calling him all sorts of swear words in French very loudly that I could understand being half French. At this point we started walking out and only paid for one beer after a small argument of realising to their horror that I could speak AND understand French"
