"we have been eating several times in the la vida. Mostly due to lack of direct alternatives in the environment. the first impression has been confirmed continuously. the restaurant itself is atmospheric and cozy, as the tables are quite apart. a continuous concept is not recognizable, a mix of Spanish-Portuguese food and typical German food is offered. you should choose a direction and consistently go through it. the service is in order, we have experienced warmer, friendly and more attentive customer orientation in the direct surrounding area. unfortunately, the kitchen and thus the price/performance ratio also reflect this. the foods (especially the tapas) are often boiled and tastefully as well as visually little authentic, sometimes only warmed and not freshly prepared. a cheese plate made of cheese in slices (from the super market), without arrangement like oliven etc. The salads are unfortunately also arranged little nicely and only provided with a few clecksen dressing - without any spices. when then the noodles were reached to the main course (cold meat, unfortunately too strongly heated and therefore tough) only when the food was already cold again, the disappointment was complete. another chance we will give to the la vida only if all the alternatives in the surrounding have closed, the price/performance ratio is currently not justified. with a little more effort (the impression is created, one rests on the location advantage in falkenstein) and a clear gastronomic concept with a stringent offer you could create an appealing locality."

Tappas was perfect for beer and wine, but the pasta type is a salty taste that is Korean.

The castle ruins are getting more and more, despite the efforts of the city to restore a part. Nature returns the castle piece by piece.

after the celebrations it was comprehensiblely quiet in the la vida. Ideal for an undisturbed family meeting where it tasted good for everyone. but are the pumpkin soup and the wild boar. truly delicious! Ver carta

at me it took a few years to make the first step into the la vida. I have to give who comes from kelkheim, who is not so easily lost to falkenstein. more often my family and I were already in the la vida and we were very enthusiastic and satisfied. The card is very extensive, for everyone there is something. we like to come back.

We have carved, papardelle, salad, and children's menus. It has all tasted quite ok but certainly nothing stunning and for the price rather moderate. Maybe next time we should just order tapas? The waiter/owner was quite nice and despite face mask he managed to be sympathetic. The terrace and the ambience are very nice with views of the castle Falkenstein.

I would like to join the only average rating here. we were to eat tapas in the restaurant, also and above all due to the many excellent reviews that I honestly cannot understand at all. eating is okay, average, the tapas selection also solala, the service left quite to wish and was rather unfriendly. you don't sit very comfortable. prices are again okay. I'm not coming back. good tapas in a beautiful atmosphere is different. Ver carta

who comes from königstein and doesn't want to drive far to eat well, is right in the la vida. here you get even higher service. the personal adapts individually to the guest and its needs. friendliness and personal service is very big here. there's something for everyone. be it the variety of tapas, juicy and delicate steaks or one of the ever changing fresh fish dishes. it wasn't my first and certainly not my last time I was eating there.

there are many good Spanish restaurants in Germany that la vida is not part of it! the service was the only good. we ordered four different tapas, gambas al ajillo, pimientos de padron, pan con ajo and avocado with tomate and parmesan. the gambas were really too frit or fried, apart from that, these were not gambas but some favorable deep-cool shrimps variant. to ask if it tasted I said exactly this the service said then they give this further that was then also all we have heard of it. the jury consisted of mayonnaise with garlic this is completely unacceptable and not authentic. after the brave were so underground we left the main court apart from a Spanish court and the wrinkled carving o...

"You can get a good steak almost anywhere these days and cooking one is not an art. Buy good meat and you will probably be able to do it yourself. So let's get down to what really makes an impression. The service here is terrible,...it took absolutely ages even to get a menu and getting served was worse than having teeth pulled. My wife and I went here with friends two couples at the recommendation of one of the other couples. As mentioned in other reviews the view is fantastic, where else could you have such scenery outside of a safari? After the long wait the waiter finally asked what we would like to drink before attempting to leave with only 4 of the 6 drinks being ordered. We had to call him back three times. They seem to have a very arrogant attitude in the service department and when questioned about cooking methods or if the order had been understood (we asked to have separate bills for each couple) the response was that of someone who had just stepped in something nasty. After ordering more drinks whilst waiting for the food (any food) to arrive we ended up with a table full of glasses, mostly empty. It was only when the head waiter came and took one look at our table, that he immediately removed about 10 glasses and two empty water bottles. So I ought to mention the food, like I said it is easy to cook steak but I don't really think they got it right, my steak, ordered medium, was a little too well done and burnt on the outside, my wifes caesers salad with chicken was very poor and the chicken was burnt, dry and had a sour taste. The others said their food was good but two of the orders were mixed up and despite asking the waitress who brought the food if the distribution was correct the error still occurred. On the whole, the food is not bad, but for the price I have to say there are many better restaurants to be visited. The portions are not bad but one could expect more for the price. The service was generally very slow and the waiting staff very uninterested. So to the bill, as I mentioned earlier we asked for separate bills per couple, so we were surprised to see one bill, which meant restating what we had ordered (per couple) and a long wait until the individual bills arrived, and guess what they were wrong, fortunately only to the amount of a bottle of water and a side dish being on the wrong bill, but never the less wrong. The comment in the bold print and largest character set made me laugh THE TIP IS NOT INCLUDED. Really in bold type, capital letters and a larger font than everything else on the bill. I rounded my tip out quite nicely 0 Euros for zero service. I had heard much about this place and it has been on my to do list for some time. However, it is not a place I would recommend or revisit, there are too many pleasurable places waiting to be discovered."
